Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good atmosphere, ample of carpark. Price is reasonable too.
Food is good, but perhaps not the best finger licking good restaurant you can find in Sabah.

I've been here for a couple of time, both were for family gathering dinner.
Overall, the foods served were tasty with moderate to quite expensive price. (I can say the price is double from the price at other local seafood restaurants i.e. Gayang Seafood Restaurant which is much more cheaper). But, the price I paid, was complement by excellent service from the boss (I pre-ordered all menus and made arrangements directly with the lǎo bǎn), the supervisor and food servers. I give 5-star for their warm service!
The air-conditioned restaurant was clean and very comfortable, especially for those with small kids and prefer to dine quietly but not very formal like in the hotel.
Great place to eat with family!

Searching for dinner ended us to this restaurant. Enjoyed the foods ordered. Of course they added roasted peanuts which should not be considered a part of the bill.

Food is Good, and price is reasonable although it is on the upper class side. Service is quite slow, which i think the management should improve it.

Stopped in here after a long day of travelling as it was across from our hotel. Despite all the chicken options not being available on the menu our order was taken very promptly. We had the ginger fish which was great and the laksa with noodle was just so so. The food took a very long time to arrive however which was a bit if a let down.

Whenever we have something on, we would dine in this restaturant. Food is good and the ambiance is nice in here. We you dine here, you could just see other patrons face smiling and looking satisfied. It means that the food is nice. Well, it is indeed nice.Price is reasonable for a chinese restaurant and the seafoods are fresh! Fresh seafood is what you get in KK.

Service was slow, some food on menu was not available, even drinks made were not up to par. Reason given was shortage of staff but that is not good excuse.

I came to this restaurant after a friend invited me to dine in there. This restaurant is so easy to find because it is located in front of Horizon Hotel and close to DBKK building. The service of this restaurant is totally excellent. Food served fast. Floor is clean. Restaurant service staff is friendly and clean, they really take care of personal hygiene.

Have been frequenting the restaurant once a month. It's the restaurant I compare other new restaurants to.
My favourite dishes : "Wet" butter tiger prawns/lobster, deep fried calamari with salted egg, steam grouper with soy sauce, scallop and spring onions.
Chinese restaurant setting, round tables with red cloth. Good service and knowledgeable captain on the catch of the day.
Price is average to above average.

Located next to SMK La Salle, Kota Kinabalu.
Found this place to be a reasonably priced seafood restaurant serving up piping hot, delicious seafood!
Lobsters are priced reasonably i.e. RM15 per 100gsm. Our table ordered a wet buttered lobster, which was very good. The next mouth watering dish we tried was a two-styled red snapper, one steamed with superior soya sauce, cilantro and plenty of spring onions and ginger and the other was a Teo Chew steamed. The fish was super fresh and didn't reek of fishy smells. Slightly overcooked but otherwise a perfect main course. RM8-9 per 100gsm. A 1.3 kilo fish for a table of 10 should suffice. For those who prefer non-seafood dishes, we tried a yam basket, topped with plenty of green and red peppers, diced chicken, mushrooms etc. only RM25. The oyster sauce Kai Lan was incredibly fresh and scrumptious, served hot and retaining the greenness. The vege dish came up to around RM20. Claypot tofu for the older folks and kids; always a great dish to go with vegetables but do ask for Japanese tofu. You also have to try the salted-egg soft-shell crab. Some can't relate to the salty taste but it's really delicious, crunchy batter yet soft interior.
Thien Thien opens for lunch and dinner. The Tanjung Aru branch is Halal, not to be confused with the other one on Gaya Street
Great for family dinners.
Good air conditioning, clean and cozy seating near the corners. Ample parking.
Rather near the KK International Airport (roughly 3km) If you're chasing a flight, stop by for a good seafood meal before boarding.
