Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited this coffeeshop about ten years ago out of curiosity. Today I managed to find seats for two without waiting for too long as normally happens. Nothing seems to change. It seems to be very popular with many people have to stand outside for their turns to gave a table. Requires patience as it may take quite long to be served. Prices are higher than expected. Anyway it was worthwhile to satisfy your curiosity here.

Old Kopitiam shop with the best Mixed pork noodle in town. Tasty and properly prepared. Always full so do expect to wait. Best way is to order while waiting for a seat. Only available for breakfast and early brunch

In beginning we are very happy and can’t wait to dive into the kon lau mee which we ordered directly from the lady boss. We waited 30mins, and we realised that the tables came after us has already eaten. It’s not just 1 or 2 tables, but 4-5 tables. So we quickly asked the lady boss where is our food. Lady boss prepare the food and sent to our table, we asked her nicely in a well manner tone: “ is it forgotten our orders?” She replied angrily: “ they took wrongly and sent to wrong tables. Why you cannot wait is it? it’s just a short distance from kitchen to your table.” I am very furious after hearing what the lady boss replied. She doesn’t admit she is wrong and yet she still fight back with customers. If I’m the first place, we do not ask about where is the food, I bet she doesn’t even know we still not eaten yet and she forgotten our orders. And what if we are rushing to airport or somewhere. This lady boss replies and attitude is totally unacceptable!

Haven't eaten here in the longest time, and I remembered why. Food is alright, not super yummy up to the point of heaven, but alright. What made me dislike this place so much is the environment of not having any proper waiting/queueing system. Also during peak hours, expect other customers to come and stand behind you, waiting for you to be done with your meal, or customers fighting to get that seat first because they arrived earlier than the other. Also, I waited almost an hour for my food to arrive. Also, you can actually call to book a meal earlier! Like the person on the other table. I never knew about that. Maybe it only applies, if you have an inside person. Honestly speaking, I actually like how they prepare their pork intestines, not so much the noodles.. But the experience I had last January will put this place on my 'places to avoid eating at' list. I give it, 4 for food, 1 for environment..

The freshly made noodles are cooked in tranches. This leads sometimes to delays. Business is almost always good. Essentially offal and meats with the signature noodles. Icon amongst locals.

Well, first of all, trip advisor’s location is 1.2km away from where it really is. Check on google map would give you a more accurate direction. Now, I’m not sure if the noodle worth appx 30min of wait and it wasn’t served hot on my table. When I check out the noodle station, bowls of noddles somehow were lying around for eons before it was delivered to any customer. Result, a slightly cold/ warmish noodle. Having to say that, I like their soup, and the tofu the drinks seller sold. My father loved all of the food there yet it was merely “alright” for me..

Delicious pork noodle shop. Crowded and probably must wait for a table. Sometimes the shop will be closed, but don't give up. Must come and try.

Using kampung chicken to cook. It's nice and tender. Very long queue under hot sun. No fancy menu for you to order. Remember finish your food and go. Old rustic feel kopi tiam.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and ever time I have these kinds of noodles outside this restaurant I always think about Wah Juan and it really is special and unique. If your looking to get seat gotta be early or you'll be waiting in line for a long time. My only complaint is the portion is small but other than that is really good!

The chiu chap noodles here are legendary. Open from late morning (after 8am) they finish very quickly. The white noodles are tossed in a white lard sauce (sounds gross but is fragrantly delicious) and is served with an assortment of braised and deep fried pig bits thrown in - ears, intestines, and of course (minced) meat, and finished off in a delicious meaty brown sauce. You can ask for no innards if you are squeamish, but will be met with an incredulous look from the stall owner. Delicious!

We use to come at least twice a month but lately the service and quality of food had dropped. The attitude of the floor staff and especially when taking orders just isn't there any more. Only the lovely old lady comes to serve you with a smile. As for the food, the noodle are usually over cooked now and the meat just don't taste as greatly as they do. Still has the nice 'kopitiam' surroundings and it can get pretty warm during a hot day. We've never kept count on how much each of their plates cost therefore we can't say if they have increased their prices but we can definitely say it's not worth it anymore. Especially when you need to queue up to get a seat (although this is a rarity now a days). Overall, give it a go. I can't say that I'll miss the food here anymore.

I loves their dimsums!! Cheap and delicious which everyone should come and try atleast once. They serve basically chinese dimsums, "roti kahwin", "kon lau mee", anything that related to chinese style localized foods~~
