Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food’s ok; pastas and some with quirky adds, rice with Japanese/ Korean toppings, meat dishes, good choice of desserts & variety breakfast menu. I could do with a little bit more hollandaise sauce with the egg benedict though.
I’ve been here a few times a year or 2 back but I don’t recall the service to be as wanting as this visit.
The staff are either undertrained or overworked (it was only lunch time) or flustered with the lunch crowd.
No thank you, no smile, no nothing.
The server, in wanting to be efficient to clear tables asap, ran off with the serviette when serving the food. Wanted to clear my plate when there was still food on it (I paused eating to observe surrounding).
Management, you must teach your staff about service and not just about doing their assigned tasks.

Serves mostly Western Cuisine. Taste wise is okay, pasta not as good as the famous Italian restaurant down town. For the price paid, I was expecting more. Not so much on the flavour but on the actual ingredients put into the dishes. One can actually count the number of slices of meat pieces in the dishes. Way too little meat and veg in our dishes. However, their serving of quiche comes in a satisfactory portion. Hard to find quiche in KK. Other than main courses, they have quite a good selection of desserts. The type of dessert varies from week to week.
It can be difficult to get a parking spot in this area. This establishment seems more like a haunt for the affluent to have a drink and to chill.

The pancake, was rough and tough, need to be fluffier, not sure how (im not baker) but had many softer and fluffy one out there. This is like some abrasive sponge.
The Egg benedict (in the bush), not enough hollandaise source. Its not enough, inadequate, and insufficient. Just need to emphasize that hollandaise source is i think the most important layer on the egg benedict. Thank you.

Have come here many times. Have never been disappointed with the food and service here. Best part is free water.

This is my second time to return but unfortunately the staffs are not so being friendly but quite arrogant. No smiling or welcoming is fine. But insist to speak English with raising louder tone is not so comfortable to me. I observed around the environment, the staffs work like robotic. The coffee is not hot enough, the portion is too small. Don’t think will come back for third time.

Chicken wings was over fried and still have a lot of thin hair which were not plucked completely. Ordered teriyaki chicken bowl and it was salty. The salt/pepper shaker, salt part was clogged.

Good customer service... but...food quality: mediocre... stingy on ingredients... Drinks/coffee: prefer THE B.E.A.N. nearby.

Every review was raving about the truffles. Honestly, they're good, but RM2 for each, or RM 11 for 6 is a bit expensive. But really good.
The B side chocolate cake is a bit on the dry side, but the chocolate ganache on the cake is great!
Matcha latte is lovely, wasn't too overly sweet, just right, unlike most of other places that skimp on the powder and add too much milk and sugar.
The peanut butter cake is good as well! The sponge is a tad dry, maybe because of the fridge, but the frosting and ganache is good.

I went there on a Wednesday afternoon and had a simple lunch of soft shell crab pasta. It was my first time in Sabah and having the soft shell crab. Not disappointed tho.
The ambience in the cafe was decent too. Clean and chill. However, it is a bit far from the city. If you're not a city person, this place would be ideal.

I came here with my brother and sister in law. We had coffee and nothing to eat.
The place was nicely fitted with very clean and minimalistic design.
Coffee was good.

Nice ambience cafe with industrial interior design, nice for small party/ gathering/ events. They do support/organised like local art & craft events from time to time and a good hang out place. The important thing is the coffee need to improve, like more improve. Cheese cake need to maintain the quality, I'll be back for more expectation.

The coffee is decent, I always get the cold brew, which has very clean nodes. The breakfast menu is good. But, I must especially mention the chocolate tart, which is actually chocolate mousse on shortcrust pastry (if I remember correctly, which is not important) cause the chocolate mousse is really good!

You can enjoy bonding time with your friends here with their fancy drink & food.
However, do not drive a big car because you hardly find parking there especially at night time! Drive a smaller car for easy-parking. People tend to double-parked there.

Small cafe a bit out of town but worth stopping at if you're in the area! The cheesecake is REALLY good as are most of their other cakes and desserts and they also have a good selection of options for brunch, lunch or dinner. I'm not a coffee drinker but have been told their coffee is amongst the best in KK. Serves no alcohol or pork but does have some interesting options like soft shell crab burger or pasta, avocado & poached eggs on toast that you won't find in many places in KK. The same owners have opened a similar style cafe in Australia place called Woo which is easier to get to if you're staying in town.

The atmosphere was quite calm. This is definitely a place to chill and talk. The food there are quite good especially the soft shell crab pasta. The drinks are average and abit costly
