Stumbled across this dried meat shop and was surprised at the excellence of the bakwah. Not too sweet and very well flavoured. They also make the best foie gras sausages.

Not many people would know of this place as they do not advertise. However this is the locals’ best kept secret for bbq pork. The best would be their sliced bbq pork which costs more but you get the slice of fat and lean meat melded and barbecued well not the minced meat type. The taste of saltiness and sweet is well balanced. You have to make reservations during Chinese New Year.

We stumbled across this shop because we wanted to try some local bak kaw. The smoked meat is much more savoury tasting than the ones in Singapore, which can be overly sweet. Very, moreish!

We came across this dried meat shop when looking around Chowrasta Market. We just wanted to try a little bit and the owner was very accommodating in selling us a tiny little piece for us to try. Their tried meats are very tasty and have a good texture.

Me and my wife always come to Penang to visit relative. They introduced us tuck kee for their dried meat, the taste is different with our china ones. Is pretty good we find it. Bought some back to china for family and they love it too. I personally love their waxed meat, the taste is different with china ones, but is good.

Everytime I come to penang, I will drop by tuck Kee to buy some bak kwa back to Singapore. But FYI, its banned from bringing pork to Singapore. But I did successfully brought back some. I normally hide in my luggage. Their bak kwa is good and cheap. Especially the pork floss very crispy. Its best to have it with bread for breakfast

We do bring our guests to try out some local foods sometimes. And during CNY, even its peak season, the quality of the bak kwa is still there. The shop got so busy during our visit, but their service is pleasant. If you guys come to Penang, Tuck Kee's bak kwa is something you guys can try it out, only in Penang.

Every time we come to Penang, Tuck Kee is one of the must buy shop we come across. Their dried meat is better than those in Macau. The smokiness is there with juicy and soft texture. Highly recommend to hongkie like us who love dried meat!

Passed by Chowrasta Market and saw Tuck Kee this dried meat shop there. Tried their slice dried meat, is pretty good. the dried meat taste a bit similar with our Singapore's Lim Chee Guan. The traditional taste is there. Even though the slice meat shape might be a bit odd, but dont judge the book by its cover. Its superb anyway! The lady introduced us their signature pork floss is good too, very crispy!

I went there before CNY festive, wanted to buy some bak gua for my relative in KL as I was told that Tuck Kee is the famous one in penang. Bought some of the slice pork meat for my parents and they love it. I personally love their pork floss which is so fluffy and it taste so good with congee and bread! Their crispy pork floss is good too, too bad I just bought one pack and we finish it in like just 5 min. Gonna come back again for their pork floss when Im back to Penang!
