Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

They breakfast is buffet style. Small spread but has all that you need. Western and Japanese style, salad and fruits, yogurt, coffee and tea. If you stay in Richmond, you definitely want to try this place for breakfast. I don't think you will be disappointed. Staff is quite friendly.

We were hungry and tired, and since once of us is a vegetarian, our options in Narita were somewhat limited. This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, and it was the easy, no hassle thing to do. The waiter was humorous, the piano music a nice touch, the pizza a rip off for the size that they were ... but it was quiet and warm, and in the end it did the trick.

We stayed one night at the Richmond Hotel Narita and went downstairs to Stella for dinner. The restaurant was closed for a wedding event until 8pm, but was well worth the wait. The service was excellent- friendly, accommodating, attentive and no long waits for food. The food was fresh and flavourful. The decor was stylish and the atmosphere was excellent. The live pianist was a bonus. There were several vegetarian options to choose from, and the server also offered other alterations to meat dishes.

The breakfast buffet is hit or miss---once they had a chicken dish I liked, but mostly things I cannot stand. They do let you take a coffee to go. Juices, teas, coffees along with cereal, eggs, tofu and meat dishes. Rice also. Various breads. So, breakfast was ok ---average---what's bad is the dinner here. I ordered Chicken Fracase. Could not eat it. My colleague tried it and spit it out. Very overpriced. I would suggest walking up by the train stations --you will find lots of places to eat nearby.

The owner and staff of this restaurant give great attention to the quality and taste of every item of the meal and do so in an amazingly friendly way. They care for locals and international travellers with the greatest of attention to the art of customer services

This restaurant is attached to the Richmond Hotel, where we stayed for one night, so we decided to go in for the buffet breakfast (1200 Y). We got there at 9:15 a.m., well after the 6:30 a.m. opening. The hostess demanded payment before we entered the large dining room, where we found only two other customers, a woman with a young boy. The buffet included an equal amount of Japanese and Western items and I found my choices from both to lack flavor. The bread and rolls seemed to be a bit stale and all food that should have been served hot proved to be stone cold. One example would be the pork dim sum, I stopped at one bite, concerned that the dish had been sitting there without proper heating since the restaurant opened. A cold hard-boiled egg had a strange taste, so I gave up on that. I liked the hot coffee, however, and the fresh fruit slices. We had no interactions with staff after entering the dining room. We have stayed at the Richmond Hotel, which we like a lot, before; but this is the first time we have eaten at Stella. Based on this experience, we have no interest in returning to the restaurant.

I took bus from hotel to town. I walked around quite a distance but didnt find a spot to stop and eat. There were many around but was looking for a noodle house in particular. No data service so no map. Walked back to bus stop, this place was close and staff was friendly. Had a curry beef lunch special. Pretty good.

My mom and I came to Stella almost every morning to have the breakfast buffet. Some points to make: 1. Although there is western style breakfast food, go for the Japanese style breakfast! (ie. a bowl of rice or congee, miso soup, a plate of meat and vegetables and some fruit) 2. The selection of fruits and fresh vegetables is very limited, so be prepared for that. 3. The coffee is fantastic, and fresh too!

Breakfast at 6:15 a.m. is a nice Japanese buffet – 1200-yen. I also went to the bar in the evening. They had a pianist playing 3 sets starting at 7:30 p.m. Their staff speaks English. A very nice place to wind down the day.

We ate breakfast here even though we stayed at a competitor's hotel. Compared to that breakfast it was worth the 5 minute walk. This is not a bad breakfast. Just get there early so that your food is hot. Loved their bacon. When it was hot. And yes I pulled the pieces from the bottom.

Was extremely impressed with the value here. For under $30 had the Stella dinner course which included a soup, salad, assorted app, a main course and a desert. For the most part everything was very good.

I was here late on a Friday night (11:00 pm) so the place not might always be so quiet - but it was very nice, quick and attentive service, delicious tea. I had the Japanese "hamburger" with poncu sauce, listed on the menu as a Stella special, then homemade caramel ice cream for dessert. All delicious, and very reasonably priced.

One of us had a Japanese menu and the other a la carte western meal. Both were exceptionally high quality and a really good place to eat on the evening before flying out of Narita airport.
