Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So glad to see Hill Station still going strong after we first visited last year. We were in Hoi An/An Bang for nearly 3 weeks and wanted a bit of a food change. The area with the glass doors is air conditioned with is great...when it’s really hot. They have a huge craft beer selection and some very good wines as well (happy hour is between 2pm and 6pm). They also have take away wine at reasonable prices. We had some lovely fresh baguettes and they have cheese and charcuterie boards (these were great to share if you didn’t want a heavy meal). They do serve meals as well and the couple we tried were excellent. The prices are very reasonable and they have great staff. Enjoy!More

We called in for a coffee. This is upmarket and when we were seated we were brought cloths and iced lemon water. When our iced Vietnamese coffee came it was the nicest of our trip so far. Short and strong though but not at all...bitter. We didn’t eat anything but the menu looked nice - on the higher price range.More

Wonderful historic building, excellent service, and most important, really nice wines which can be a rare find in Vietnam. They also have a 3 hour happy hour which is perfect for a couple of wines before dinner.

Beautiful French style cafe across the road from the famous Hoi An tailor Yaly Couture. As we sat we were greeted with icy cold towels and icy cold water. A gin & tonic each and half a baguette each were delicious and perfect

Standard omelette and bacon. Good but nothing to shout about. Coffee is good as well. Prices are on the high end.

After an afternoon in the hustle and bustle of Hoi An, we made our way to this venue for a quiet beer. We were very pleased with the selection of beers on offer (along with the food and wine). Set in a very old house...of the old town, it is a nice way to sit back and relax and take in the town of Hoi An. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for us (including two kids 10 and 7). A thorough recommend when in Hoi An.More

My wife and I came here today by accident, we did not intend to eat here but we had an hour to kill and this was just across the road. So what the hell, let try it. We are quite difficult foodies, we virtually only...eat at 5-star restaurants, so I was not expecting too much from this cafe. I ordered the Penang curry, but they had run out. I had a massaman curry 3 days earlier at a 5-star restaurant, so I was not expecting to eat it again so soon. Well, I am glad I did. My first mouthful and I knew something was wrong. This damn curry was delicious!!! I dissected the vegetables with my fork and looked through the sauce. By the time I had my 3rd mouthful, I knew this was the best Massaman curry I have had in a year or more. Honestly, you need to try this, if you do not, then you are the loser. Because this was a spectacular dish, and it wasn't expensive by western standards. I do not know about the rest of the food, I only had this curry, but my guess is that these people know how to cook.More

The building was the draw card that dragged us in and the food and coffee made us stay. They offer a great selection of food using freshly baked baguettes which they bake in house. The Latte’s were great and the atmosphere was relaxed, it was...a great place to sit and relax with a coffee to watch the people pass by.More

I love this unique cafe. It has a European sensibility with Vietnamese flavors. Nice wines and drinks, and for those needing a little taste of home, an excellent cheese board. Fun to sit and watch the people walk by and take photos of this wonderfully...charming building. Delicious foods. Nice atmosphere and good people watching.More

The Hill Station was out first coffee in Hoi Ann and had us coming back every day. Fabulous coffee in the most surreal setting. The exterior of the building is like traveling back in time but the inside has been converted into a warm and...inviting space to eat, drink and hangout. If they ever have the three cheese gratin on their menu, it is phenomenal!More

I don't know how old the building is but it's beautiful. Two floors just outside the old town. I will be there later today and will ask.
