We found this purely by accident walking around after organising our tailor made clothing and shoes. It was a great spot to relax and sit back with a beer and nibbles. The range of cheeses, meats and the pate is so fresh and tasty! We actually returned a few days after and made use of the happy hour from 4 till 6 buy one get one free drinks. The local IPA beer was really tasty and went so well with our pate and pickles platter! The bathrooms were also very clean here and loved the tightly rolled reusable handtowels was a nice touch for sustainability.

The building is just amazing, inside and out. The Hill Station has a refrigerated deli style case of meats and cheeses, they look great, many imported varieties. We enjoyed a glass of wine before ordering the special slow cooked beef stew, it came with fries. We really enjoyed it tasty and a change from local cuisine.

This is a great place to take a break from Vietnamese cooking if you have been travelling for a while. The house wines are good and reasonabley priced and they have European cheeses and good brown/white baguettes available. The food there is good. The building is old and could do with some TLC, nevertheless a nice change.

Visited Hoi An many times before and we always make the time to have chill out at this venue.. It's not huge, but it has a very nice, relaxed and subtle ambience to it.. You can sit on roadside, or inside, both by the wooden platted windows.. Or sit further inside.. it really doesnt matter.. Staff are very warm and welcoming.. Happy hour lasts from 14.00hrs-18.00hrs.. a real plus.. No rush here, just relaxed and chill time... Wines, local draught beers, and food, even various cheeses, hams and sausages from various countries are to be found here...

We came here on our first visit and had to return. They served Pasteur street brewing company beer along with a selection of cocktails and wine. Plenty of nice light food choices to snack with your drink or have a full meal. You can eat inside or street side to watch the world saunter by. Great fiend,y staff in a relaxed no rush atmosphere.

We called in for a coffee. This is upmarket and when we were seated we were brought cloths and iced lemon water. When our iced Vietnamese coffee came it was the nicest of our trip so far. Short and strong though but not at all bitter. We didn’t eat anything but the menu looked nice - on the higher price range.

What a find this was just a half a block from Old Town. We were in Hoi An/An Bang for nearly 3 weeks and wanted a bit of a food change. Next Door is next door to The Hill Station and is owned by the same owners with exactly the same food and drinks menu but Next Door is air conditioned, great when it’s really hot. They have a huge craft beer selection and some very good wines as well. We had some lovely fresh baguettes and they have cheese and charcuterie boards (these were great to share if you didn’t want a heavy meal). They do serve meals as well and the couple we tried were excellent. The prices are very reasonable and they have a happy hour also from 2pm to 6pm which makes it even more reasonable. This was a great find. Enjoy!

Had a Cappuccino here while I was waiting for my tailoring, It was excellent! Chairs were comfy, too. I didn't eat there, but a couple next to me ordered a western-style meal that looked really good, two different pasta dishes. I noticed that they also had a local craft beer on draft, too.

This restaurant was good rather than average to be honest but Trip Advisor does not have a category for good and IN My opiN This place deserved Good rather than Average but Trip Advisor doesn't have this category and it fell short of the Very Good category to be honest. The restaurant itself is in an atmospheric, attractive very old building which is relaxing and super chilled with great staff. But the chili con carne wasn't really anything special and in fact was rather mild, rather than spicy as I had hoped. The rice was of the sticky kind rather than separate grains which I would have preferred. My friend had an attractively presented cheese board and whilst she really enjoyed one of the cheeses , she found the other too be rather strong, though she normally enjoys strong cheese, and the other one was so overpowering that she couldn't eat it at all. In fact you can choose your own 3 cheese from the deli counter but this was only told to us at the end of the meal when paying the bill, and not when ordering. There were tasty gelatos for dessert, especially the passion fruit gelato. The wines were good too and easy on the palate.Would we go again? Definitely - because of the lovely staff and cute atmospheric restaurant. But I would try one of their many delicious sounding Thai curries and my friend would make sure that she chose her own cheese beforehand. But definitely a place to return to and find something that we really like.

Staff pleasant and welcoming. Pate sublime, cheese platter excellent. Beef stew delicious, burger 1st rate. Marked the score down as we hadn’t finished our starters when our main courses arrived. It shouldn’t have been down to us to try and rearrange the table to accommodate the additional plates. Presentation of the food very good and we will definitely return.

We visited The Hill Station in 2018, and we're so glad to see after COVID that they are still here, but also bigger and better. I was drawn initially by the beautiful original old building that has been sensitively renovated, and oozes charm. But you stay for what's on offer inside, from sensational coffee, great breakfast options, baguettes, panini, and maybe not huge, but a varied and tasty lunch/dinner menu, beer, wine, charcuterie. So much to offer! We came for breakfast & ordered our lunch to take away. Since our last visit they have extended either side to include the airconditioned Next Door By Hill Station, and the wonderful gelateria to the other side. And how could I not mention the friendly helpful staff. Also worth a visit is the associated newly opened Lim Dining Room. Another beautiful space with an enticing western menu. Another gem worth a visit.

Beautiful French style cafe across the road from the famous Hoi An tailor Yaly Couture. As we sat we were greeted with icy cold towels and icy cold water. A gin & tonic each and half a baguette each were delicious and perfect

We were craving for some cheese and wine in Hoi An as we were missing our wine bar back home. Hill Station more than satisfied our cravings. The wine selection is extensive. On our first visit we bought a bottle of Argentinian Malbec which was really good. We also had the cheese board, sandwich and salad which were all excellent. On our second visit we had two glasses of the house red. They had two types to choose from, and we really appreciated them letting us have a little taste beforehand to make sure we’re happy with the wine. We had the mixed meat and cheese board which was also excellent. The decor is also amazing, it’s in an old historical building and was crumbling and chic. The music was also really nice and overall vibe was chill. We’d highly recommend Hill Station, if you want to spend a few hours chilling in Hoi An with a nice glass of wine and some cheeses 🙂

We found this place because we had been to the other restaurant owned by the same man (Lim dining room, also fantastic). Our lunch at the Hill station was absolutely delicious, the caprese baguette is perfect in this heat, the mango juice is pure blended mango, but the crowning glory was the mango and camembert crostini (you get 4), which were little bites of heaven that we will definitely recreate at home. The Hill Station has a wide range of western food, as well as a selection of Vietnamese, Thai and SE Asian dishes. Everything we tried was amazing. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, combining relaxed coffee shop vibes with rustic walls and furniture, and local art. They also had a massive selection of European CHEESE.

The building was the draw card that dragged us in and the food and coffee made us stay. They offer a great selection of food using freshly baked baguettes which they bake in house. The Latte’s were great and the atmosphere was relaxed, it was a great place to sit and relax with a coffee to watch the people pass by.
