We dropped in here for a couple of drinks during Happy hour. My husband had a couple of local beers and I tried 2 different cocktails. I wasn't very impressed by my cocktails as I had experienced better elsewhere. The location is good as was...the price and service.More

Didn’t know anything about it but decided to try it for lunch. We had a few Hoi An specialties: White Rose - banh vac (shrimp dumpling), Cau Lau (Japanese noodles with herbs, veg and a delish broth) and Hoanh Thanh (fried wontons with shrimp). All...were delicious and service was good. It’s on the other side of the river from the more touristy old section.More

The food here is wonderful. We stayed 3 days in Hoi An and went back here all 3 days. One time for lunch, the other two for dinner. Food is supergood, but service is noting much. You get what you need or ask for, nothing...more and it is super slooooow. But for us the food alone was worth coming back for.More

Worst food of our trip so far. The clay pot fish was like tasteless rubber, the banana leaf fish was so overcooked we couldn’t even lift it off the bone and tasteless, & likely been frozen. Daughters tofu burger had two tiny pieces of tofu...and then mainly raw carrot slices, with 8 chips on the side. The shrimp starter had pork in it even though we expressly asked no pork. Tasteless badly made summer rolls. The only saving grace was the stir fried morning glory. Possibly one of the worst and overpriced meals we’ve eaten whilst travelling. We complained and they just said, oh sorry about that. In hindsight we should have avoided all those tacky waterfront places. But we were tired. Have a cocktail by all means. But this is definitely not the place to eat Vietnamese food (or even western food tbf). Oh and joy forgetting The cockroaches under the table!!More

Without much preparation and not knowing which restaurant to go, we came to Cham Cham by chance. The place was crowded as compared to the ones next door so we thought that must be a good sign. We later found out it was crowded because...there was a tour group taken over the whole indoor area of it leaving only a few tables outside. Anyway, we ordered our food and they came pretty quickly. No complain there. The food also taste nice. The price is slightly higher then other places we visited in Vietnam but hey, that is right in the middle of the tourist location.More

Really well priced given the location right on the river, many on this stretch have silly prices but they were very fair here. You can get the 'fresh beer', a local speciality delivered daily, for a mere 5000VND, or about 25 cents! The Cao Lau...is cheap and very good, as are the other local specialities they have on a dedicated section of the menu... we came back here for a second go which says it all.More

Fresh beer was ok as was the baguette. The only place I went to in Vietnam that added a service charge. Was the service a cut above? I should coco!
