We wanted to try authentic Vietnamese while traveling to Hoi An and Faifoo did not disappoint. We tried the Vietnamese pancakes, fried fish with mango salad and a shrimp dish. All were excellent. What we found best was the service … fast and friendly and the manager, Susan, was super.
The price point was also quite reasonable, so overall we thought it a great value for money.

We came here for an early dinner and had a phenomenal experience. We started with the Hoi an specialty appetizer platter and it was so yummy. You must try the white rose dumplings. I got the chicken stir fry with cashews and my boyfriend got the lobster with butter and garlic, everything was fantastic and fairly priced. The staff was very kind. Highly recommend coming here!

Perfect restaurant! It is very well located and has beautiful views of the river, being in a corner almost all the tables have good views and the sunset is beautiful. The food is delicious, you can tell that the products are very good and they cook them in an ideal way. The food is Vietnamese cuisine but it will leave you speechless. We tried 4 dishes. To whet your appetite, a salad of prawns, asparagus, nuts and native vegetables, the mix of ingredients is magnificent. Next was a mixture of medium-hot vegetables, a very well-cooked vegan dish. Then we had typical Vietnamese fish, in a saucepan with a very good sauce, accompanied by noodles, vegetables and nuts, a plate of 10, highly recommended. The last dish was chicken with nuts and rice and it did not disappoint either, very delicious. The restaurant is very beautiful and you can see that they have taken care of every detail, the napkins, the tableware, the decoration is very beautiful. If you are in Hoi An, I recommend you try it.

If you spend at least one night in Hoian you can not miss dinner at Faifoo. Small but cozy environment with a nice terrace overlooking the river, fantastic and smiling staff, especially the very kind Dao who served us and who guided us to a high gastronomic experience. My wife and I stayed with them for two nights and enjoyed very well-kept Vietnamese cuisine and very respectful of tradition accompanied by equally tasty sauces. Highly recommended for the quality / price ratio.

The cooking class with Ngoc was exceptional from start to finish (farm>market>kitchen>table). The dishes chosen were great and Ngoc ensured everyone's meals were delicious whilst being easy to interact with and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Couldn't recomend this class enough.

Cooking Class with Ngoc,
Trish, my wife and I signed up for the evening cooking class.
OMG / Wow.
So much fun and learned so much.
We made Spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaves and eggplant in a pot.
The dishes are all made with all fresh ingredients and herbs.
Ngoc, gave very clear instructions and was patient, as I don’t cook that often… lol
The 3 course meal was the best tasting food we have had and that includes the Michelin Restaurant we ate at in Hanoi!
Ngoc and staff thank you for the amazing experience, the education on Vietnamese food and the fun.
Can’t wait to try and recreate back in Vancouver Island …

My husband did the cooking class and tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! After being picked up at our hotel we went to Tra Que Traditional Vegetable Village followed by the local market. Gnoc was a fantastic guide and chef who made the day interesting as well as fun and tasty. The cooking class is held upstairs above the restaurant. Plenty of room and well set it, it was a joy to cook there. The 4 recipes we cooked were full of flavour and looked amazing as well on the beautiful plates and bowls. We would highly recommend this cooking class and tour, it's been a highlight of our stay in Hoi An.

We chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner, as recommended by our hotel D Central Hoi AN Homestay (they are family) and it was a total success!!! We ordered the End of the Year menu and the selection of dishes from starters to dessert was very successful, as it was all great and with a good presentation and proportions. Excellent menu for such a special dinner. Apart from about 10 pm we were offered to see fireworks that they had prepared particularly, very nice!!!!

Excellent all around. A newish restaurant in a beautiful riverside spot, owned by a woman who is from a four generation Hoi An family. The menu has helpful English translation and photos, there are many dishes of local foods, the quality and service is excellent, and we got to sit on the balcony watching the colorful boats go by. Highly recommended

We came here for the cooking course which involved a trip to an organic farm where all the vegetables come from and a walk around the market! Gnoc was such an excellent host and taught us so much about Vietnamese cooking. I thought he handled our group of 9 very well and was very patient while teaching us how to cook four delicious dishes! Thank you, we will be back!

Highly recommend doing the cooking class that Faifoo Central offers! Here you’ll get the chance to cook plenty of fresh local food - it tasted delicious! Our group was a good small size, and our teacher was very nice, engaging and helpful. Her English was excellent. Also included complimentary drinks and fresh fruit

Truly authentic Vietnamese dishes. Delicate both in terms of taste and presentation. Really a find quality / cheap price. 5 dishes 200vd.
Close to bridge and river view with "lantern" boats that sail by.
Super sweet service (everyone speaks more or less English).

We had a very nice cooking class with our chef Ngoc. It felt professional yet very fun, a lot of additional tips, and we made 4 delicious dishes. The group was small (just 2 people for us) in a nice kitchen, we were guided through the dishes step by step and feel like we can actually reproduce them (got the recipes). We asked for adjustments to one recipe which was easily accomodated for.

We went for dinner and the food was excellent.
The waitress was so helpful and informative so we decided to book the cookery class the next day.
This was also excellent and informative the chef that took the class was very friendly and helpful well worth the visit in both instances.
