We ate here on Monday 11th for lunch. Out of 13 that ate there, 11 of us ended up in hospital on IV antibiotics and fluids for food poisoning. It was horiffic. Completely ruined our holiday. The hospital bill was in the thousands (which the...restaurant should pay for!) The hospital wrote everyone up as 'gastro', I assume as a tourism measure to keep the numbers down. Everyone in our ward had eaten Banh Mi and suffered food poisoning. When we walked in, the triage nurse just said "Banh Mi?" and directed us into the ward with all the other food poisoning patients. Delicious banh mi! Some of the best we had in Hoi An. Very popular spot. We sat inside and were served very quickly. Would recommend visiting.
