Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Check this out in old Hoi An! The family that runs this small, yet beautiful restaurant is very friendly, and the food is great and so reasonably priced. Try the famous White Rose dim sum type dish, since Hoi An is the only place you’ll...get them in Vietnam!More

This place is ran by an absolutely delightful lady, the best veggie food I have had in vietnam for sure! Before we ate here myself and my girlfriend were really getting a bit down about being veggie in vietnam but this has restored faith !...Try the local fresh pancake dish - next level good and a pleasant change from fried rice etc. Just arrived back in town and headed straight back.More

Absolutely delighted to find this quiet haven in the center of hectic Old Town. Quite frankly I was noodled out and the menu offered a variety that satisfied my cravings for Vietnamese flavor, besides cau lau and banana pancake. Take the time to find this...wonder and enjoy the food cooked by Older Sister and graciously served by Younger Sister. There are collections of handwritten favorable comments saved among the menu pages, testamemt that guests will take the time to write personal notes. This was a highlight find in Hoi An.More

Recommended by our homestay Nha Lan (great place to stay) we went to Old Garden Restaurant. To find it you probably have to know because it's in second row on Phan Chau Trinh St. Once found you will get some of the best authentic local...food! Besides the nice service the food is really delicious and easy to order with pictures on the menu :)More

Having wandered around the old town and felt slightly overwhelmed by the hustle, we stumbled across this lovely little family run restaurant. It was a great laid back place to have dinner in a quiet little nook within the old town. We had really tasty...veggie meals - a noodle soup and fresh spring rolls which were really fun to make ourselves.More

We popped in here as we were passing by, and were blown away by the food, prices, and friendliness. It’s a small family run restaurant, with rather basic decor and amenities, however it you want some of the best food in hoi an you must...try this place! What a find, and we are going back again tomorrow for lunch!More

We were absolutely blown away by our meal tonight after finding a place that was still accepting guests This place is quite unassuming, and doesn't seem to host as many guests as the restaurants surrounding. This is a shame, however, as this place had the...best food we found in Hoi An; easily the best Cao Lau and Pho Bo we have tried.More

Great find down a small street. The food was amazing for a really cheap price. We got 3 dishes for 120,000 dong. Try the rice pancake. Was amazing. Would recommend this place. Has all nice Hoi an food.

After seeing nothing that interested us along the main streets of Hoi An, which are full of places that look nice, but don't look like the food will live up to the décor, we found a menu for this restaurant on a little stand and...an arrow pointing down the alley. We thought the menu looked interesting, so we followed the arrow and found a little place with rustic atmosphere that ended up delivering one of the best meals we have had in Hoi An. Their pricing is very reasonable, too, so you really cannot go wrong here. Their banh xeo was among the best we've had, and the spring rolls were fresh, tasty and full of veg and shrimp.More

On this day, as a holiday, Hoi An was particularly busy, so we opted for a small restaurant, a bit hidden away from the main streets. This small interior garden hides an excellent typical Viennese food, at a very affordable price. We loved all the...dishes we ordered, and we would recommend this experience to everyone.More

Chanced upon this place, and was really impressed by the food. For those who wish to visit the restaurant, please note that the name card of this establishment states that it is located at 47/2 Phan Chau Trinh Street. You can call 0949074916 to confirm...the address. The grilled fowl and fish, wrapped in banana leaves, burst with flavour. Price is reasonable. Definitely a restaurant one should patronise for a satisfying meal when visiting Hoi An.More

I must say that having dinner here was the highlight of our trip to Hoian!!! We arrived here, because our fantastic tour guide told us that it was the best restaurant in town. And he was 100% right. It is quite difficult to find (down...an alley, far from the typical tourists places) It is a very simple and unassuming place, but the food is just too delicious! Typical from the region, we had a taste of several plates: Wonton (superb!) Cao Lau (yummy!) The white Rose....too good. I would eat 100 of them!! I just want to go back to Hoian and eat there everyday. Thank you!More
