This is a gem of a spot to eat. Great food and drinks at great prices. Family owned and run. Best pizza and wings anywhere, and the blue cheese, it's homemade, not that nasty bottled stuff other places charge you for.

“Local Joint” place is a little dated-must be a local hot spot. This place has been well enjoyed.
There must have been a lot of good times here. We were greeted with smiles-treated like regulars-felt right at home. We had “prime rib for 2” oh boy!! Done to perfection! Not huge but enormous!! Ate ate and ate—took gone a big pice too!! Prices are very very reasonable too.

Good food at a very reasonable price. RElaxed atsmophere too. Get a reservation by hte huge fireplace in the winter!

Consistency, it’s easy to get a great meal occasionally from one of Allegany County’s steak and seafood restaurants, what is not so easy to find is Consistency… Muhleisen's has been doing this for years! I have been going there a couple times a year, more some years than others, and I have never had a meal that was less than fantastic! Today was no exception, the clams casino was, as always, the best I have ever had. Today I opted to splurge and go for the Surf and Turf, with an upgrade from 10oz to 16oz steak. Was the steak 16oz’s maybe but I would have guessed to say more like 18 – 20 and was grilled to perfection, medium rare, warm but red in the center… Twin 4oz lobster tales accompanied my steak and were tender and sweet as should be! The baked potato was served with ample butter packets and sour cream. My dinner also came with a fresh garden salad and two warm rolls with lots of whipped butter on the side. The service was quick, the young girl that waited on me was polite but not overbearing, my drink was kept full and no idle chit chat (Some people like a chatty waitress, I do NOT)! Their prices have increased a bit, but the portions have not been affected like most other places! The decor is clean but dated, they just repainted inside and out but still have the hand-hewn wooden beam concept of yester year, there are no marble sinks with gold plated faucets in the facilities, but they are simple and CLEAN! They even have a fireplace that is used on the winter which adds a cozy atmosphere! If you are looking for fantastic food from fingers, pizza and burgers to steaks and seafood, without the pretentious snooty atmosphere for the whole family, Muhleisen's is the place! They also have a bar next door for those of you who like to have a beverage before, during or after your meal. Did I mention they have a fantastic “family style” dinner special every Sunday, I should have, I have had this many times and as with everything else, it is fantastic!

Their menu is back again and food is good except for margarine used for the nice rolls. Rolls are good though and food is great!

I called to place an order. They asked me to hold for 10-20 mins, but hung up on me. I called back 10 mins later and she tells me hold on I spilled a drink everywhere. I can hear them giggling and chatting in the background. Finally got my order in and they told me an hour. I go down an hour later to pick up my order and the waitress "forgot" to put my order in, but put in my friends who called after me. They asked if I wanted something quick to make but I left because I was so frustrated. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced and they didn't even offer me anything for their mistake.

Stopped in for a cocktail and perhaps some wings but the service was horrible. The two bartenders acted annoyed that our group of 5 even walked in. After giving one of us a beer they ignored us at the bar for 15 minutes while we watched the one member guiltily sip on his. Suffice it to say we decided to head to another place for dinner. Being that there were only about 10 patrons in the place it was pretty clear that this is a locals only environment.

The shrimp scampi was breaded and served with fries. The burgers were soggy. The pizza smelled like popcorn. The bathrooms were so disgusting my boys didn't want to use them and the women's bathroom was being remodeled and not open in the dining area. The soda was flat and tasted off. We were very disappointed in the service and food quality.

The food was raw. Salad was brown. Dinner was to come with baked potato, never received. Waitress never offered refills on drinks and still expected me to pay for the very raw burger that was not touched. Prime rib ordered medium, it came so raw and red it was difficult to even look at. Highly recommend you go somewhere else. Do not waste your money here!

I have been here a few times and still good food for the price. Salad bar very good. You may want to get here earlier for dinner as it tends to fill up fast. This is more of a steak and seafood place. Very good fish fry. Although the delmonico is a tad mediocre as far as preparation, the quality of the cut seems good but the thinness of the steak hinders the taste in my opinion. The prime rib and baseball sirloin were very good though. Dessert is good as well.

Found on Trip Advisor. Hidden Gem is spot on. Its real home cooked food made to order so yes you have to wait. Enjoy a cocktail or time with friends and family while you wait. Stopped in for a cheeseburger for lunch while traveling through town. Great burger! Noticed a sign for Wednesday dinner special "stuffed peppers" so guess where we ended up for supper? Very good homemade stuffed green peppers with a nice cucumber salad and fresh baked mini loaf of bread. Great food and very nice people . Even the guy with the apron. No complaints, other than it not being closer to Andover. We will be back!

Very reasonable prices for good portions. Pleasantly surprised by surf and turf. Salad bar could be made into a light meal on it's own. Dinner by the fire was nice.

The best broiled fish in the area. The service was good along with the food. They have other food that is good also and the proportions are big. Like the choice of the small loaf of bread also.
