Awesome ambience, Sensational Seafood

We walked past and our ears were beckoned by the beautiful music coming from the heart of the restaurant just as our noses were summoned by the delightful aroma. We were met at the door by Engin who was the consummate host and could not have been more helpful. In the beginning, we were a little overwhelmed and as we travel on a very strict budget a little scared it might be out of our price range but on relaying our budget to Engin he quickly helped us pick out delicious meals that wouldn't break the bank. We managed to eat like royalty for under 200tl. The food and service here were absolutely impeccable and they pay incredibly close attention to the details of both. Both of our meals and our starter were amongst the best we've had in Turkey and you can taste how fresh the seafood is from the very first bite. Whether you're looking to splash out or swim in the shallow end in terms of budget this place can cater to both and if you are worried about the price just let your waiter know and they'll look after you. This is a restaurant clearly in the business of happy customers, not just trying to make a quick upsell. Couldn't recommend it more. Thank you Engin for inviting us in.

What a lush that dinner was!

This was not a random choice. We were seduced by the young smiley host at the door hours before we actually had dinner. He showed us the restaurant the menu, the fresh seafood disposal they had to offer and we came back at dinner time to give it a go. We would have regret if we did return. The manager took us over, he chose the feast, gave us the price, and left the rest of the show to his very experienced team of writers and runners. It was one of the best dinners we had during the 11 days we traveled to Turkey. The food was fresh and deliciously prepared, the wine was local and the perfect combination with the seafood we were served, the dessert was on the house and I'm afraid to say that was the best baklava we have ever tasted: homemade by the manager's own mother. It can't get better than this... Oh! Actually, yes it can! The ambience was already perfect for a nice hot summer night, but the live music, real Turkish music, not some pop disgrace, that was the cherry on the top of a perfect evening in Antalya!

Great food, good service!

The food was great, though a bit pricey. When getting a fish platter, the fish goes by 100 g so they weigh it and tell you how much it costs. We paid (for what you see on the photo) about 80€. All the food was delicious and the service offered by our waiter Engin, was exeptional. It's a place worth visiting, but don't order more then you can eat. We ended up splitting the dinner with the cats (which was precious ❤️) but they refused to split the bill 😂

We have had a dinner there

We have had a dinner there last night. Ordered prawns, octopus and grouper. The waiter was too much in our faces. We ordered half of the fish fried, the other half grilled. Then the fish came all grilled and when we asked why the waiter said this is better way of prepping it ignoring what we asked for at first. Bare in mind the fish cost 100lira per 100 grams. Then the bill came, the prawns were 55lira on the menu and the bill came with prawns costing us 170 lira. When we asked the question the waiter said that we have had the fresh prawns that’s why it’s more expensive. This makes no sense, as they all should be fresh anyway and no one has told us there are different prices. The food was good but the service is far from what I expected. I would not go back there again. If you still want to go always check the prices as you could be tricked as we were.

Best Seafood and Service in Antalya

Ayar mehyanesi is a beautiful restaurant which I would recommend it to anyone who visits Antalya especially those who are interested in having a fine dining experience. The fish is amazing, they have a great variety and are extremely honest and transparent with the pricing. You can choose your own plate of fish and how much you would like to eat. We personally had a mix plate for two and it was more than enough. To top it all off, the vibe and service is tremendous. Engin was extremely helpful and treated us like family from the very first moment we stepped in the restaurant and I really appreciated his great manners and honesty. Will definitely be coming again :-)

Fresh Fish Cooked To Perfection

We have eaten here twice whilst on holiday. The choice of fresh fish is excellent, and so is the service. Elgin has been our host and his English is excellent. He explains everything on the menu including the bill. We love mamma’s homemade desert!! I have seen a lot of negative reviews about this restaurant and I personally feel it’s the completion making up false accounts. We have re booked for tomorrow as it’s my birthday, we are staying at Aska Lara Resort and it costs us €40 return in a taxi but it’s well worth the trip as the grilled king prawns are perfect 👌🏽

I’ve eaten here on both my visits to Antalya and I’ve never been disappointed by the food nor the customer service. The flavor and presentation of the food is pleasing to the taste and to the eye. The wait staff is super accommodating; friendly and happy to serve you. I would with hesitation recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food, pleasant ambiance, and excellent customer service.

Lovely Food and Great Service

This is a lovely seafood restaurant with a pretty courtyard setting - the tables surround a pretty little swimming pool. Their speciality is fresh seafish but they also serve a range of other dishes including pastas and turkish kebabs. My girlfriend and the garlic shrimps and I went for the meatballs - both were delicious. The seafood platters looked amazing and I wish we had tried one but we were not hungry enough. The restaurant has excellenet polite waiters who are helpful but not intrusive like a lot of waiters in Turkey. A shoutout to our waiter Engin who did an amazing job of been our waiter for the evening.

Amazing restaurant

We visited this place on 2nd January and were really happy with service and individual approach, welcomed as VIP guests and were feeling like home. Mixed fish plate and salad were delicious, tasty food, at the end plate with fruits and sweet desert. But price was over our expectations and we paid 495 lira. A bit expensive place, but with an excellent service and food!

The seafood was delicious, we even got to chose from the counter which fish we would like. Would recommend the Grupa fish and a seafood platter. All the waiters were very helpful and attentive, Engin was extremely welcoming and went the extra mile. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the live music really added to the ambience without over drowning conversations. For desert we would highly recommend the chefs special pistachio pancakes, they were to die for!! Overall it was a lovely evening and we would definitely go back!!

Perfect

This place is in the heart if the commercial area surrounded by souvenir shops and close to a big esplanade where you can overlook the sea and the harbour. Absolutely great service! Staff were very polite and friendly, doing everything to show they care. They even called us a taxi and told the driver where to take us, plus a pharmacy stop. The food was delicious and came quite fast and we had a complimentary platter of delicious fruits. There was live Turkish music, fans to keep clients cool and some adorable cats. Great experience, strongly recommended!

Second Visit and Still FIRST CLASS

Here you will find the freshest and best selection of seafood in all of Antalya. We made a selection of fish and prawns and everything was cooked to perfection. The service is always impeccable and the owner Ahmet is the most gracious and exceptionally hospitable. I highly recommend it and we will certainly return for more.

A perfect gem, a must place to go!!

What an amazing place. Having been asked to eat there three nights in a row by Engin his persistence paid off. He said that the food was delicious and we were not disappointed. We went with his recommendation of the grouper, I don’t think I have ever eaten such perfectly cooked fresh tasting fish in my life. It certainly went very well with the Serafin and the lovely fresh dressed salad. As for the complimentary dessert made by the chefs mum, well not sure what they were, but they were to die for. Yummy flat sweet things served with Turkish ice cream. Engin and the other staff were so attentive as well, they made us feel so very welcome and like we were the only diners there. As for the price we were gobsmacked when the bill turned up.....for the standard of service and food we expected more, it was so reasonable. The restaurant is a gem of a place and a must place to go.

Best service and seafood in town

Haven't experienced such an excellent service for a long time. As I'm also a bit precautious when it's about seafood I can only agree with what it writes here - very nice fishes very well prepared - in a restaurant the best ones that I ate til now. For a restaurant in Antalya it's rather in the middle-higher price area but as there are so many restaurants that take the money just because they can this is really giving you the experience an service for it. Highly recommended for a nice couple night out.

Fresh fish is a must!

Location is stunning, in the heart of Antalya old town, the restaurant is very elegant, with a fountain in the middle, perfect for a date night or event for a dinner where you have to impress your guests :) Service was outstanding, I was by myself and I've been made feel very comfortable by the staff that went above and beyond to help me with the menu.. In particular, Mr Engin, gave me really good advice related to fresh fish, suggesting me a good option for a very good price (see picutes). He also kept checking during my meal if I was satisfied with the choice and they even delighted me with a free plate of fruit salad! I have really appreciated all their efforts to make my evening very pleasant! I really suggest to visit this restaurant as I consider it one of the best I've been to during my stay in Antalya!
