the long time partners , oak and awe have split, looks to be permanent; now awe runs the 'coffee shop'; it isnt really a coffee shop in any traditional sense; they do serve coffee and i am told it is excellent; but the place is...more a restaurant, serving both western and thai foods, about 15 dishes of each; the foods i have had here , as a local, both thai and western are quite good, not expensive; this small place is a bit if a western hangout at times; generally catering to long time loyal local expats; worth a visit; street parking isnt great but there is a pay lot 100 meters down the soi alongside the large hotel; very often see retirees beer sipping in this place, great place for real tourists to get the local lowdown easily and quicklyMore

Small place, might could jam 15 people in here, good-plus food, western and Thai, western to the extent of cordon Bleu, which is good, value pricing, good service, On a busy road, party strip at night, parking is dear, Despite the road noise, there is...soothing soft jazz music, they do have coffee and I hear it is good, but really this is an expat restaurant/bar, more toward barMore

Same menu, some of the same expat locals, still very good people watching, but both oak and awe seem to be spending time elsewhere, awe is in yellow flowers a lot, so sometimes lady staff in the oak and awe is only one person, kitchen...not close to front room, so might have to chase down staff from kitchen, still quite good, a lot of expats are now going to yellow flowers, gouda cheese, they took the old chef from oak n awe, bout 150 meters toward the clock tower and then just off the soi side saddle north side, to wangcome hotel, next to old 184 barMore

What a great place. The lady is very friendly and her music playlist is banging! The food is decently priced and lots to choose from, both local and western, (I am vegetarian and she caters for this too!) This is one of our favourite spots...for lunch. Dont miss out.More

Very friendly owners. They have a diverse menu and its a nice little place for a coffee. They usually also sell alcohol and allow you to smoke.
