Nice place, no luxury but foods great. Local little place with amazing Hummus and falafel. Walking distance from Jaffa harbour/old city.

A friend from Tel-Aviv told me this was the best humus place in Israel and it indeed was! I loved the soft texture and the flavor. Furthermore, the price of 20 shekel was a positive surprise for that quality!
This was my first time enjoying hummus, and I've been told there is no better place to experience but at Abu Hassan's. I had lunch here (hummus with spices), and there was an enormous crowd at the place, both inside and outside of the building...More
Fantastic light hummus and soft fresh pita bread. We were looked after well by the guys there, who offered us a seat then said 'don't worry, I'll give you the best', then brought out a nice large plate of fluffy tasty hummus, chilli, onions and...More

Real local place - a big variety of local humus dishes. Not cheap, but Israel menas expensive food - generally. Locals eat ther - it is a recommendation.
Apparently the best hummus in Israel, it didn’t disappoint. Excellent value for money and the hummus was amazing. The only catch to this place is it’s really small and not ideal if you want to sit down as it’s so busy, but you must go...More
We came across Mark Wiens food videos about Israel and we thoroughly enjoyed them. He recommended this hummus place and we loved it. We sat down and said “hummus” to the waiter. He said “special?”. We said “yes”, not sure of what we were ordering....More
