Good restaurant with spooky ambiance; an old house turned into restaurant with some ghost around; skulls, bats, mummy, spiders everywhere. Foods are great, they provide many chocolate deserts, price is mid to high considering Bogor area.

The setting is designed like it's for haloween. Like to scare you or something-sometimes there will be big scary "ghosts" will try to scare you-part of the charm I guess. But I don't like it. I came here for the chocolate only. Was expexting a...big variety of chocolate (dark, milk, white) but dissapointed. Had a supposedly chocolate mousse but it was more like steamed brownies " Death by Chocolate a la mode" and a friend tried Euforia by chocolate as drink (banana chocolate) but tasted too sweet for me. Maybe it's just me though. I'm not a fan. It's just okay. Nice spot for an afternoon nap though.More

I really love the chocolate that served in this restaurant. It's really good quality of chocolate. It's melted in my mouth. The interior little bit spooky, the concept really unique, and feels we are in the very old house. I just like the atmosphere. It's...definitely one of my favorite restaurant.More

It's Friday's night. There were 15 minutes show at 8 pm with horror music and effect in the night. They turned off the light and atmosphere became dim. The ghost cosplay performed their talents inside restaurant such as skeleton with black coat bring a head...in his hand, the beast face that hold stick. They wandered around the restaurant and frightened the guests. Some of guests screamed, shouted and jumped out from their seat and the rests laughed, took photos and chased away the ghosts. There were special photos area in the back yard of restaurant. It's really entertaining to whom love horror genre. We ordered Death by chocolate. Its taste is good.More

Not that sugary since one of the staffs told us that they don't use sugar, but honey. And the chocolates are from the Netherlands. The place was super cozy. Especially the chairs inside the sitting area! Although it would be really nice if there were...air conditioners. We ordered some 'eye-balled' blue drink, turned out to be Soda Gembira (soda with condensed milk) with lychee and grapes as the eyeballs. Overall, it looked like Cookie Monster! Again, we ordered 'eye-balled' pudding. God, it was heaven. The fla was superb. We ordered mochi ice cream. It was... average. Not so special. And finally, Death by Chocolate. Brownie-like cake with melted chocolate in the middle, shaped like a tomb. Heaven. And the last one was Cheesy Spaghetti Schotel (?). It was... not bad. Overall, I really like this place to hang out and I love the ideas. Oh and when we were there, there's a man dressed up as a genie (not your average genie, though). It's said to be a shy genie. He's looking for 'friends' by giving people chocolates! We got 2! The genies come around in October afternoon. And at night (8pm), all ghosts and genies will come out. Suggestions: The place was actually easy to reach. Simply ride an 03 angkot. But DBC lacks promotion and branding. The instagram is not up to date, and all. It could be improved, though. Good luck!More

The chocolate drinks is good...but the foods are nothing special, tend to be overvalued. The location is quite strategic although a bit far away from other nearby well-known restaurants/cafes.

This restaurant is basically an old colonial house turned into horror themed restaurant. The best time to visit this restaurant is at night. The owner picked "foreign" ghost, instead of "local" ghost, and they put small budget decoration such as, statue, doll, etc around the...house. It wasn't even scary at daytime. Nevertheless, i found this restaurant pretty calming. Visited it for brunch, i still could feel the ambience as if in the colonial era. It was not located near the mainstreet, so it wasn't get very noisy from the traffic. The food was great. Ordered DBC a la mode with rum; the chocolate wasn't really sweet and the rum compliment the chocolate well.More
