Small restaurant with some tables and a short menu where you can enjoy THE BEST tacos we have ever tried. The service is fast and the staff is really cool and amazing! They have an open kitchen where you can see how they prepare your meal. We ordered some nachos with guacamole and pico and 3 delicious tacos: 1 of chicken and 2 of pork. OMG! they were tasty, tender and full of meat! I still dream about them.

Came here after a wonderful trip around the islands as our last meal leaving Bali. We could not be happier about our decision to do so. We both got the Johnny combo, nice set deal with everything u need. We had to add a fe more tacos cause we were pretty hungry after the tequila, so in the end, we actually were able to try every taco. My favorite was the chicken, but my partner preferred the pork, but every one was simply perfect. Highly recommended for everyone that loves good service, good music, strong drinks and amazing food 10/10 all day!

After searching for somewhere to go for dinner, I came across this place. I was hesitant to go as I didn’t believe they would be that good and the photos look average, but they were two shops up from where we were staying. HOLY S*** where we surprised at how good these were! We ordered a chicken and pork taco each and they were sooooo good! We added cheese & avocado on top, and sour cream and guacamole on the side. The chicken was spicy (we can’t tolerate too much spice) but the girls let us try a bit before we decided and it was still so yummy! I personally love Mexican food, and no joke, these girls whipped up some of the best tacos I have ever had! You will not be disappointed, oh and their mojito was pretty damn good too! I wish I took photos but they taste better than they look!

Thanks so much for this great review Taylak! Even as we go through this crisis in the world, there still must be room for tacos! The sour cream or guacamole do a nice job of toning down the spice in the chicken for those that do not like the heat. We are looking forward to opening again soon and serving up everyone's favorite tacos! Stay happy, stay healthy and we hope to welcome you back again soon~

This taco stand is very small in a small alley and if you don't familiar with the area, it may hard to find. I had very good tacos at reasonable price here. Very friendly staff. The only reason thing (in my opinion) need to improve is the hygiene and sanitation standard. Would come comeback again. Thanks for feeding us good tacos

What a great little spot! I stopped in for a quick bite and they certainly didn’t disappoint!
Staff were very inviting and I love how cute the place is.
I had 2 pork tacos and a chicken, I personally preferred the immense flavor of the pork but the chicken was good as well.
Loaded them up with chili, pineapple salsa and sour cream! It’s mouthwatering stuff!
I was in a rush and forgot to pay for a second? So sorry.........Thank you kindly for the wonderful meal, see you soon and next time I will remember to pay!

Excellent service and good food for a great price.
We both had the meal deal with 2 tacos (choice of filling) with tortilla chips, delicious salsa and a Bintang beer (or other drink). All this for $10CAD!
The two ladies serving were very friendly and attentive and the food was served fresh and in good time.
I would recommend a stop at Johnny’s Tacos.

Amazing tacos and great service! Great variety and cooked fresh. Shrimp tacos were amazing and my children enjoyed the egg, bacon and cheese. Go for the House Meal Deals - $10 for 2 tacos, corn chips and a drink.
Totally enjoyed our meals and we will be back again before we leave.

10-15 minute wait for service as the 6 or 7 girls were huddled in a group eating, texting and chatting.
No follow up when I had finished my tacos.
One girl even patted a street dog then returned to making food without washing her hands !
Not impressed at all.

i dunno....10-15 wait for service seems like a bit of a stretch to be honest. seems you caught the girls during shift change. we are open and prepare and serve food 7 days per week from 8am to 11pm...please forgive us for taking a moment to feed ourselves as well...as for the dog, i wouldn't believe that comment in a million years. maybe they should have patted you and you would've been more impressed?

This is one tiny, funky place with a limited menu that includes some very tasty tacos and tostadas and quite of few booze options. The place was packed at lunchtime with every seat taken. They are lightening fast with a smile. If you are after really good simple food, this will hit the spot nicely. The mahi mahi tacos especially were the standout with pork and chicken also great. A$9.50 for 3 x tacos or combo plate of 2 x tacos, chips, saksa and drink for $10. Worth it.

Went here for takeaway & the food was fantastic. Small little place down a lane. The lady serving helped us decide and did warn us that it may be a bit mushy by the time we got back to the hotel. It was a little but the flavours were so good. Cooked it all in front of us. Price was very cheap.

What a delicious fresh tasting pair of tacos. The flavours were out of this world the price competitive and the service second to none. Clear communication throughout my order and ingredients the freshest I have tasted so far during my stay I love the combination of seasonings in the pineapple salsa and the fire in the hot sauces right up my street. Very well done!

I wish we had discovered this little gem on Day one! We had juicy chicken and soooo fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos with Margaritas (real ones, not slushies). Tortillas were cooked to order and the chilli level is up to you. Lovely staff - Santi we will be back. X

Thank you so much for this review! This is literally the first review for Johnny Tacos in Kuta for 2 years and 2 months. We just reopened 2 weeks ago in a different location, about 500meters or so south of our original spot, so we hope people are able to find us with google maps and word of mouth. I will be sure to personally thank Santi and our cooks for keeping our standards on point. Really really appreciate this review! We have been waiting a verrrrrrry long time and absolutely could not be happier that we made it through the covid mess and are back in Kuta serving up the same great tacos with some of the same great crew and some new great crew too! Hope to see you back again soon!!!

My partner and I visited to grab some quick food, we had the chicken tostada and chicken and beef tacos - the food was so flavourful and came really quickly. The hot sauce had a great kick to it and the service was exceptional. Thank you so much to Muti who was incredible and chatted to us for ages about recommendations for things to do in Bali - would 100% recommend this place, authentic flavourful food with amazing service! Must try in Kuta

Had some Taco’s for lunch here after seeing the
good TA reviews, and was not let down.
Beef/pork/chicken was slow cooked, fillings and sides were fresh and tasty. My 12y.o daughter is obsessed with GyG back home and can be very critical, she loved the beef Taco’s with sour cream added on.
3 x Taco’s for 95,000 Rupiah or 35k each, going to head back and try the Tostada’s today!
