Sam’s cafe is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the ambience in the madness of Jodpur. Situated in the heart of the city next to the step well,enjoy the best cup of coffee in town, also a great spot for breakfast with delicious banana pancakes. Definitely recommend you visit here!

What a lovely place near the stepwell in Jodhpur! The interior of Sam's Art Cafe is inspiring & relaxing. The host is very friendly and took good care of us. We had some great fruit salad, delicious lemon pancake, refreshing sweet lemon soda, fresh orange juice, best vegetable sandwich we had in 6 weeks travelling India, good cafe latte.... so don't skip this place. You will not regret it! This place ia about the love for food. ❤

We spent an entire morning at the Art Cafe catching up on some laptop work, and we couldn't have chosen a better spot.
The place is beautiful. It has an authentic feel to the building, while also being freshly decorated in a tasteful and artsy way. The armchairs are super comfortable, everything is clean.
The chai is great, buttermilk too, but the coffee is what takes the cake - they have a proper coffee machine here, just like we're used to at home, so we appreciated that!
We also had the club sandwich (massive, great value for money, comes with fries and it's delish), the honey-butter toast and a lime sugar pancake, all of which was yummy.
Oh! And the lime soda was the best we've had in Jodhpur. And they use paper straws - whoop!

We visited Sam's Art Cafe inside Jodhpur's old city multiple times. It's very close to the stepwell. Sam's has a great traveller cafe vibe, with good air con, nice music, coffee, great veg-only food and cheap prices. The decor is very eclectic, like a cafe inside a gallery-cum-souvenir shop. Our experiences at lunch were good. The cafe was busy (mainly foreigners) and staff were attentive and we knew we wanted to come back again.
But at night for dinner we were disappointed to find the staff were lazy and unattentive, just standing behind the counter on their phones. Not looking up, not taking orders, forgetting not clearing plates, fiddling with the music, and largely ignoring the diners. The food was great, but the evening service was lousy.

It is a unique cafe offering delicious cuisine at reasonable price and One can enjoy good amount of time by viewing unique ART collection inside cafe itself & capture photos & videos. Location is just near to heritage Turji Ka Zalra & Mehrangarth Fort is also near by distance.
Best place to chill with Family, Friends as well as solo traveller.

A relaxing place with a nice atmosphere, good friendly service and above all good food. We mainly had breakfast here, they press all juices fresh and their coffee is really good, and thats hard to find in Jodhpur! When I got a bit sick they went out of their way helping with making simple food for take away which helped a lot. Dont skip this place when coming to Jodhpur!

This is more than one thing! Very cool environment with much art to see... And buy!
It is well known as the best coffee in Jodhpur, but it's way more than that. A great selection of small bites both Western and Indian, with some nice big plates as well! It was my first meal after having stomach issues for two days and it was the perfect place! The staff was very helpful and pointed me to the things that could help me. Fresh lemon soda, a cheese sandwich, followed by the freshest and tastiest Hakka noodles I've had. I can feel the healing happening already as I sip on my Banana Lassi! Looking forward to coffee on the morning!

We came here every morning during our stay in Jodhpur, because the coffee and the food was so damn good (try the vegan omelette - mindblowing) The atmosphere is laid back and the place is incredibly clean. The family who owns the cafe is just the best, they have been very helpful with arranging our trip to Udaipur as well. Thanks guys!

Visited this Cafe thrice because the 1. food was simply very good 2. staff was well mannered and 3. Ambience was cool
Pizza was really good. Pasta was top notch and on another occasion we ordered Chowmein + Manchuria which was also prepared well.
Due to the pandemic there were hardly any guests

We have stayed 4 days in Jodhpur in March, and were eating twice a day in this amazing restaurant, enjoying beautiful range of curries and veggie burgers. We loved the different Lassis they offered, especially the Banana Lassi. The coffee is worth mentioning, as it is definitely the best in Jodhpur. The ambiance was cauzy with the good music and wonderful staff who were warm and attentive.
If you are in Jodhpur,make an effort to drop in, you won’t regret it!

We decided to go for breakfast at sams art cafe since the reviews were very high. We were not disappointed! The cafe is nicely decorated and the seating is very comfortable. We had been craving a good coffee after a long bus ride the day before followed by a sleepless night and our expectations were exceeded... the coffee at this cafe was the best we’ve had during our five week travels across India! It was almost too good to be true when the lassi we ordered was also the best lassi we’ve had across the subcontinent. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for another in the afternoon. The owner is a very warm and friendly guy that helped us out with recommendations of whIch sites to visit during our stay in Jodhpur. He also told us that he has a nice rooftop restaurant that’s open on an evening so we will definitely be checking that out before we leave! A must visit for anyone that wants good food, tasty coffee and friendly service!

Went to this cafe twice on our visit to Jodhpur. The first day we ordered 2 bowls of porridge. They got our order wrong and came out with 2 banana pancakes, we didn’t want to make a fuss so we said nothing. On the same visit we noticed that they got another customers order wrong too.
Went back again the next day for breakfast and again they got my order wrong which they knew they had because they told me when they brought it out. Again I didn’t make a fuss and I ate it. When they brought the bill they overcharged us by 150 rupee. They had charged me extra for the wrong food that they had brought out which was their mistake. They also overcharged us for our toast.
Very poor service, wont be going back again.

Best coffee we had in Jodhpur. And it’s even 50 rupees cheaper than stepwell café, which is nearby
You got to try the Strawberry lassi aswell, Its very good. The location is also nice with many beautiful things to look at and to buy. The owner was very friendly and told us many stories about how he went from having a internet café in 2004 to now own the restaurant and guest house next door.
All in all a very good experience

Breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks (from a proper coffee machine!!) - this place is perfect any time.
We've been here for breakfast and brunch, and today spent the day here waiting between checkout and our evening train to catch up on work. We had a full lunch and plenty of drinks, we couldn't get enough.
The place is quiet, clean, comfortable, a beautiful oasis in the middle of the bustling city.
But the absolute best part of the experience here are the staff. The cafe is run by a wonderful family which we've come to know and love in just 3 short days. They're clever entrepreneurs who have built a number of small businesses in the hospitality industry and are doing well now - it's no surprise, they would give you the shirt off their back if you let them!
We got to know them first through our accommodation at Geeta Mahal, also highly recommended as it was our home away from home. Best night's sleep in India!
Combine a refreshing night's sleep with the coffee at Sam's and it's the best combination possible. We didn't want to leave Jodhpur, and it's all because of Gucci, Sam and their wonderful family!
PS - ask them about the stunning art, photo prints and incense that they have on sale. It's all very well priced and stunning. If we had luggage room, we would have bought the lot.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome, guys! We'll miss you!

This cafe was an oasis for me. The staff are lovely and always able to help to find the best vegan option, especially Raju! Delicious coffee with alternative milk, eggless omelette and my fav vegan pancake (image below). Highly recommend if you are travelling in Jodhpur.
