Barbecue With the difference

The consistency in Service, Food and cleanliness is a feather in the crown when it comes to Barbecue Nation. We have been regular in our family visits and we definitely want to commend the Staff and Management for maintaining high standards always. Special mention of Nitesh who was very attentive and helpful with our needs and Ashish who was overlooking the overall service of all staff. Thank you Barbecue Nation

Very friendly and caring staff.. they deserve the best of best.. Considering a place Like Mangalore.. its a wonderful option where one can visit with families and friends... the only suggestion i have at this point is to please try to improve your menu... rest is as fabulous as ever....

Loved the ambiance and food at bbn.. They have a wide veriety of dishes from veg to nonveg..Hyderabadi biriyani was my favorite.. Visiter here 3 tims in past 1 year..loved it..

Really excellent place. It was a package 600per person . grills were perfect.staff are so curteous that i have never seen such humility and service in mangalore deep fried corn was awesome. Kulfi was good

Barbeque nation Mangalore.. Ambience and staff is excellent.service ,hospitality is just perfect. I found that serving team was active and intrested to serve the guests and troughtout they were checking over the customers satisfaction . Starters were excellent, taste is also good and kept coming. But main course need to be improved. There is a need to add some more item and taste was also not that great. Slight changes in menu being served would have made it great..Desserts are good and varities available . You have both veg and non veg platter. Will cost you 890 bucks per head which I felt little expensive because main course was not that great.

Good Food and Excellent Service

I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch buffet.. There were not much customers when I visited. The serving team was very active and very much interested to serve the guests. The kababs were very well cooked and tasty. I liked fish and prawn kababs. I found frequently a serving team member visited me and asked whether you need any other item which is not included in the menu. It is a very good customer relations job. I did not try much of items from main course except Chicken Biryani. This was good but not superb. The minus side is the dessert items. There was no freshly made dessert item. The main items available were cakes, tarts, ice cream and Kulfi. I found one Mr. Vikas, who is very active and very helpful in guiding the selection of kabab items.

Fantastic experience

We are a family of four from the UK, with two young children (age 6 & 4). Our children aren't used to spicy food (minimum chilli at all at home!) and so they had experienced difficulty eating well in Mangalore. That was until we ate here! The starters were fantastic and kept coming - some with no seasoning at all for the children, and medium spicy for my husband and I. They even brought French fries for the children without requesting (and they were so happy!). The mains are served buffet style- really good flavoursome curry's and biryani. Butter naan brought fresh to our table which was delicious (other breads offered too). Desserts were good, the children enjoyed the kulfi counter, and I enjoyed the mini gulub jamon. Service was fantastic throughout, they were always checking we were OK and didn't want for anything! Daniel was excellent. We found it excellent value and were completely full up by the time we left. Thank you! We will be back!

The variety is brilliant and the starters are crazy good. The chat counter and the icecream station is an innovative addition. I really enjoyed the selection of deserts that they had.

Soda--An Experience that Bubbled up and Fell FLAT soon!!!!!!!

A typical Sunday Luncheon that was planned considering the fact that the BARBEQUE Nation will be the ideal place to please our taste buds and good place to catch up as well....2 reasons were of The Ambiance was really good and the place was well lit up with perfect Air Conditioning.... So the excitement bubbled up...... The Starters were served....the first thing that surprised me was the portions served...Each Skewer had very small portions...I had opted for the Non Veg Platter and was served Chicken, Fish and Prawns....Chicken was marinated properly and it tasted very nice...However, the Fish wasnt either marinated well or even Grilled Well, And the Prawns were Rubbery and tasteless.....Mutton Seekh Kababs were served and they werent tasting fresh either....Chicken Tikka Kababs were marinated well and tasted spicy as well...5 Skewers of Non veg with 2 pieces in each skewer were served and once we were done, we had to wait for 12 mins for the refill...The wait time was too long...We raised this concern with the Restaurant Manager and he mentioned that this is bcos of some Charcoal Issue in the Kitchen....By this time, we had enough of it and moved to the Buffet.....The Buffet spread was limited and it had a Chicken Gravy which was Watery and was looking like a Genrous Mix of water with Turmeric and Chilli Powder. There was a Mutton Dish which tasted OK and Chicken Pulao was renamed and served as Lucknow Chicken Dum Biriyani...The fact of the matter being that, it was not even remotely close to Lucknowi Pulao....The food was pathetic and i couldnt eat anymore....I just helped myself with some portions of Curd rice....Luckily, that was made perfect and I was feeling somewhat cyncial to have curd rice sitting in Barbeque Nation. Moved on to the Sweets section and the Kesar Phirni was just a Boiled and segmented Milk....The pastries were crumbling and the cream was sour on the same...The only saviours were the mini Gulab Jamuns and Kulfi......I did express my dissatisfaction to the Restaurant Manager..... In a large way, the entire experience was disappointing....Just feeling bad that we had gone there keeping in mind the Bangalore and Chennai Experience that we had with Barbeque Nation.....But I am appalled by the service and food that i was meted out in Barbeque Nation Mangalore. Being the Only Charcoal Grill food server in Mangalore gives you a higher responsibility to serve high quality food....Hope u understand that you have a BIG Brand name to live by.... The experience was disappointing and Probably it will be a never again visit to Barbeque Nation going forward.........

Best BBQ Buffet in Mangalore

Barbecue is mostly reminds me of Non Veg, I took my Vegetarian family to this place on my daughter's request. They loved it. Also this place had lots of verities of appetizers. food was good too. Bu,t i thought they should have added couple of Veg curries in the main course.
