Having visited most of the South American countries and liking this cuisine a lot, I could not give this restaurant top notes. Maybe because, even day before we had better ceviche in ordinary Wyndham Airport hotel? I asked for advice for a meal containing big...portion of meat. I was told that some beefsteak will have 250gr of it. Well, I hade lots of different pieces of meat before and it was not 250, even including onions, steamed vegetables and part of the rice on the plate.More

Hands down this was the best meal we had in Santa Cruz! I had the Bollo de Pescado and my spouse had the Caldo de Bolas. Both were bold in flavor and stick to your ribs meals. We are both foodies and were missing distinct...flavors. Man did this place satisfy! This will be on my “must eat” list when we come back to the island!More

This was first recommended to us by someone who grew up in Puerto Ayora as the best place for local food. We've had both breakfast and lunch. Locals can't get enough of the bolon mixto (plaintain, cheese and pork skin), but I liked the patacones...with meat sauce and an omelette. It's enough for most of the day. Lunch is a large mound of rice with a meat sauce or two.More

I have owned 3 restaurants and spent the last 6 months traveling South America on a motorcycle. This food is authentic and flavorful. I ate there three times and they did not cheap out and only used Coconut milk for perfect flavor.

Nice, small restaurant in a secondary street close to the Main Street. They serve authentic Ecuadorian dishes, including “Cazuela de pescado”!!! Just delicious. On top of that, they have little expedients that make life easier for the clients. Highly recommended.

We were three, we each had a variety of local dishes. And we loved every single thing! Especially the seafood dishes marveled our experience!

We just came back from our trip to Ecuador and Galapagos, on our long trip back we rated the restaurants we visited the last 3 weeks, Lo & Lo came first by far, unanimously, we are 5 and each one ordered a different plate, they...were all (very large) very good. After eating their we couldn’t find any other good restaurants, they all had the same plane dishes of fish or chicken with potatoes and a small salad. This was the only real Ecuadorian food restaurant, so don’t miss it.More

I liked this place so much, I ate there twice! The first dish was the seco de pollo, which was excellent. The second dish was good, but not excellent.
