During our recent staycation with Dubai Hilton Jumeirah, we got to do our date night at Tradervics on a Saturday night. Buatljnf with energy and the ambience with live music is so energetic. We love Cuban and Caribbean food and this place has it all. Drinks - we had the usual Tiki Puka Puka, London Sour and Fog Cutter over the course of the night..Packed with a punch the cocktails never disappoint and we loved our return memories👌 Food - For starters we had Beef Sho Cho which is one of my must haves whenever I visit...the texture of the meat and the flavor of the sauce is a classic favorite! For mains we ordered the Red Thai Chicken Curry and Mango Chilli Beef. Both are new additions in their menu, and we were blown over...Loved the flavor and authenticity. Portion size was generous too. We are regulars at the other Tradervics outlets but what we liked about this place was it was well spaced with comfortable seating and the service was on point! We were well taken care of my Marianne and Uchi 😁. Highly recommend to make reservations and also try out their signature cocktails with the spirit of your choice 😋 They accept entertainer which is such a plus. And the Friday and Saturday brunch are real value for money with great food, drinks and live music 👍

We always turn to Trader's Vic if we have to look for the best cocktail. The place never disappoints us. Not only are the cocktails exotic, the serving glasses n bowls are exotic too and add to the heady mix. This time around it's a changed atmosphere due to covid precautions and we did start with a discordant note by not getting the desired seating despite prior booking, but high class establishments always finds way to provide you best of service n your time memorial. Marion, our host for the night went out of her way to not only provide us with a lovely outdoor seat within minutes, but ensured we have a great time. We appreciate all her efforts. Coming to the cocktails we tried both the cold and hot ones. Try the coffee grog, a combination of coffee, cinnamon n light rum served hot. Good option when you go in twos or groups is to try out their cocktails serving for 2/4. Starters have option of fish, chicken and seafood. We stuck to chicken having their boneless buffalo wings and satay. For mains we opted for masaman curry, which was heaven and ended with chocolate lava cake served with vanilla ice cream. We can't thank Eunice n Jageesh enough for taking such good care of us. To end, we were served with a Hawaiian mudslide on the house.

Had a lovely experience today at the Friday cheeky tiki brunch. The food was not a huge selection but plentiful and tasty. I follow a vegan diet, salad bar had a good selection but after a little wait and a chat with the supervisor eventually got to experience the main vegan dishes which could not fault. The drinks were ok Hubble would have liked a better selection of beers but Amstel was mediocre, again the spirits selection was not fantastic unless you like beefeater and again wine just one type of rose, red and white was Sauvignon blanc which was all self service I have to add no cider Was on offer and which was a disappointment to our friend. I do believe this venue really needs to step it up a little in terms of better selection of drinks, and a better service for vegans but all in all had a good day and would recommend to give it a try.

Last Sunday, We decided to visit the Hilton hotel on the walk. We are Latinos and we love live music. Some friends recommended us a Colombian band that plays in Trader Vic’s. The restaurant had only two tables occupied in the part of the lounge and some others on the terrace. They weren't really busy, we ordered a some drinks and some snacks, we received the drinks without any setbacks, however the snacks arrived after 38 minutes We wanted to return them back but we were hungry so we accepted them. The food has nothing special and after taking the food no waiter approached to follow up on our service, all the time we had to be calling them. Pity service and very bad food. Without a doubt, the only thing I would recommend the place is by the Latin band. Never, never back again.

Firstly, the staff and the live band were great. Unfortunately, that’s where my positive experience ends. Having dined many times at Trader Vics in Dubai over the years (at all venues in the city), I was really shocked by how poor this offering was. The lobster was the worst and can only compare the texture to that of a pencil eraser. The food across the board was lacklustre and anything supposed to be warm was tepid at best. It wasn’t busy, the restaurant can’t always help that, however, they could have seated people better to try and create some sort of atmosphere. I actually felt for the band who were really trying to drum up some enthusiasm. Being a Brit, it’s not really in my nature to complain but this brunch needs severely rebooted to survive in a city where you’re spoilt for choice. You know it’s poor when you leave half way through and go downstairs to McGettigans to pay to continue to eat and drink.

option is too less servings are too slow, they will make you wait too much so you will feel full to eat more. i tried to order sushi platter again and it takes me 5x to follow up to serve it. I asked 2platters in the end because i was getting hungry and when they serve it its only 1 platter and need to wait another 30mins to serve the another one. and that's for the appetizer. For the main course same scenario. so the whole time you need to wait for your food and keep get full keep drinking while waiting for it. By the way they didn't motioned upon reservation that you need to avail the sparling option when you booked outside and pay 50dhs more! its tricky by the way!

We are big fans of TVs in different locations across the years, so we were looking forward to a special meal on our last night in Dubai. When we arrived we were promptly shown to our table. That was the end of the good service. We sat there watching with interest as other tables around us filled up, were offered menus, and brought drinks. 35 minutes after we arrived I went to find someone in the Reception desk to ask if someone could come and take our drinks order. A lady came and apologised and took the drinks order. 15 minutes later our drinks arrived. By this point some people around us had their food. Others were going mad at the staff, clearly experiencing the same dire service that we were. The guy who brought the drinks asked us if we would like to order our food, yes we said. 5 minutes later he came and asked if we had ordered our food because he couldn’t find a record of it. No, we said, we need to place an order. 10 minutes later someone came to the table, by this point we had lost the will to live, so we decided to go elsewhere to eat. The restaurant has plenty of waiting staff, but they are poorly managed by a dreadful blonde Manageress, who when I went to ask for the bill, explaining our terrible service experience, said “I am very sorry” in the most robotic uninterested way I have heard in a long time. No offer to do anything about it, no effort made to recover the poor experience. The bill didn’t come. Ten minutes later we asked for it again. It then came with a 20% discount for the “slow service”. That is completely laughable. At no time once I had been to the Manageress at her reception area initially, did she come over to our table and try and rectify the situation, and when we left she was trying to pacify a group of equally pissed off customers. Never again. I suppose they think there will always be a revolving door of tourists coming in, and because you are tourists it’s unlikely you will be a repeat customer. What a short sighted approach for your brand, as we will never go in another TVs again. And no please don’t respond below with the same Cut and Paste “Sorry to hear of your poor experience, and we hope to see you again.” You won’t, and you need to remember how many potential customers an unhappy customer will talk to.

Dear Affinity Girl Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with me, As the venue manager I am horrified to read the above as it is not the standard of service I expect from me team and as a guest myself in many venues I can understand your disappointment. I would like to get in contact with you directly below is the number of the restaurant if you would kindly call and leave your details I will get back to you. The experience of our guests is very important to me, and either tourist or resident I like people to have a good time in the venue and certainly not to leave feeling like you did. I do really hope to speck with you personally Kind Regards, Marion Sheridan +97143182530

The food here is pleasant enough and the happy hour always helps with the experience however they have simply got it wrong with the whole smoking thing. The outside balcony has nice view but for some reason is predominantly reserved for smokers with only 4 tables fir non smokers. My wife and together with friends gave been coming here and enjoying Traders’ as our ‘local’ for over two years ... but not anymore. Why does Traders believe that non smokers want to sit with smokers exhaling their poisonous secondhand smoke everywhere and destroying the pleasant food purchased and atmosphere? We non smokers ( who enjoy a sociable tipple with our meal) don’t then urinate our second hand alcohol over smoking guests... so why should we suffer their second hand smoke? Sorry Traders.. you have got the balance wrong, you need to catch up with the times.. smoking is a thing if the past and should be kept to a minimum corner away from others like in most civilised places. Goodbye to Traders... shame really ( maybe this is one of the reasons the place is becoming more empty every week).

3.5 Stars Saturday Hula Brunch: Pros: Nice decoration and nice atmosphere. Live Music Quality food Chef and Manager did a great job of accommodating a food allergy. Hats off to the chef. Cons: Drinks were EXTREMELY weak. I had a sugar rush before an alcohol buzz. Assume they do this on purpose because all the mai tai and puka puka mixes are pre-made. I’ve had enough of each in my life to know that it took around 4 of the brunch tiki’s to equal the alcohol of one normal one when ordering off the menu outside of brunch. The result of this is tons of sugary drink with little alcohol. Live Music was too loud. No chance to talk. Selection of food was limited for such a high cost brunch Service: Fast sometimes and very slow sometimes. Price: This is not a 450 aed quality brunch. They are pricing it based on everyone using the B1G1 entertainer app. 450 per person would be a ripoff if you paid full price. The 225 aed per person with entertainer was about the right price for the quality. Overall: Good experience with entertainer app but the weak drinks was a “no go” for me. Would definitely not visit for aed 450 full price and maybe not with entertainer either.

Friday Brunch is O.K. if you are going for atmosphere and drink, unfortunately if you are going for the food you will not find a lot of choice, and nothing extraordinary about the taste. Moreover, I spent one week with an upset stomach after the visit, most likely from the oysters, (one of the few items worthwhile at the buffet). Very disappointing as I had been wanting to visit the place from long time and had big expectations.

We came for cheeky tiki lunch last 12th Mar and we kinda felt like the restaurant tricked us. We made a reservation and once we arrived, they said they don't have our reservation. Then we requested for outdoor seating (which is not that great by the way, cause of the construction view) and when we were settling the bill, we were informed that there is additional 50aed per person for outdoor seating. We were all surprised cause we were not informed at all, I mean it's not much but still.. would be great if they informed us beforehand, thats why we felt like we were tricked. Anyway, food is so so. Cocktails taste nothing but rum - I'm not sure if it's good or ad, but didn't work well for me.

Came here with my friends to have some drinks and bites. The place is really nice. The band was outstanding. They have a lot of cocktail choice and Uchi really help us to choose the drinks which was match with our taste. Beef cho-cho is one of my favorite bites there, as we need to grill the skewers by our self but the taste is just amazing. You will just having fun in this place, specially when you meet Uchi and team. Never ask about their hospitality. So friendly and helpfull. Thankyou, we will be back soon.

You can't visit traders vic without having 3 or 5 or maybe even 6 of their famous Tiki Puka's!!! and if you can still stand after that ask the waiter for their recommendation and you will get top pick to surprise your taste buds. There an outside area aswell that over views the pool and Dubai marina wheel. The lovely lady Dipti took care of us.

The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
