We went here for our last meal in Luang Prabang and only regret not finding it sooner. The food was flavorful and fresh and vegetarian friendly. Don’t miss out.

Amazing food at very affordable prices. It’s an unassuming spot from the street, but it’s comfortable and cozy once you sit down. It almost feels like you’re having a home-cooked meal in the best possible way
Loved this place! What a find… Cheap Delicious Great service Quick and efficient Great menu Lots of local food Loved the river weed Will defo be back!
Really delicious food, excellent prices, great service, will be returning soon. The riverweed is amazing. Friendly staff
Extremely good value in a nice area of the town. The atmosphere is pleasant. What I liked is that they a different menu than most other restaurants, particularly at the price range.
Really good prices here compared to most of the surrounding area. Food was really tasty and the menu includes a lot of local food which we loved trying. Will definitely be going again.
Wonderful people, great food and a quiet location one street off the Mekong river, this little place can easily be overlooked but shouldn’t be. We had a delicious tofu Laab and river weed as well as vegetables on rice. Certainly a place to revisit.
My favorite dish in Luang Prabang is the Bo Bun with Chicken. Not to be missed. The river weed crisps are a delight also. Wash it all down with a delicious mango shake! Such a lovely little outta the way cafe with lovely staff also
If you want a really well cooked local meal that is suitable for Western tastes, this is the place. I had the fresh egg rolls and they were absolutely perfect. It was six big egg rolls for $1.70. Add the ginger tea for $0.60.
We had a delicious and unique meal of Laotian food here very authentic. It’s a small place but outdoors and the staff was very accommodating. Our entire meal including appetizers main courses and drinks was under $10 amazing
My friend and I came for dinner and ate the spring rolls, fried eggplant and Larb. All the meals were fresh, cooked well and very tasty. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend
Great food at an incredible price. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is “chill”. I had the spring rolls and eggplant dish, both delicious.
American expat with Lao wife and family for lunch. Shared fresh spring rolls and beef with herbs & vegetables and I had bo bun, nice bowl of rice noodles, beef, onion, lemon and herbs Vietnamese style. Served fast and four ate for $16US. Recommend highly!
We went for a few beers down by the river and then strolled up to phonheuang cafe. Traditional place to eat. Can't recommend enough. Staff greeted us with a smile, took our order, food was with us within 10 mins. The food is freshly made...and one of the best meals I have eaten in Luang Prabang. Highly recommend to anyone that want traditional Laos food in authentic surroundings.More
I eat here twice with two friends. The food is very fresh. The prices are very low. The restaurant is very popular. The nems and spring rolls are extremely good. That being said; the restaurant is fine for those not wishing to spend much money,...and for vegetarians. But for those who enjoy good food whilst on holiday, you can eat much more interesting food elsewhere in Luang Prabang.More
