What a joy to have an authentic Georgian restaurant in Panama, which comes to enrich the already diverse and interesting gastronomic scene of our city.
Georgia, like Panama, has historically been a bridge between diverse cultures, and this is evident on Lamro's menu. There is something for every taste: it pleases those who love to eat meat and vegetarians alike.
From the moment you cross the threshold of Lamro, you feel that you are entering a space that honors the Georgian tradition of hospitality towards the stranger, and of good living, eating and drinking. A warm decoration, in which elements of Georgian art and crafts mix perfectly with natural materials (leather, wood), in a beautiful building in our historic Old Town.
Its owners, Elene and Guga, chef Davit, and all the collaborators make you feel welcome and at home. They are happy to answer questions about each dish, and in case of indecision, they are always right with their recommendations.
It would be difficult to recommend just one dish on the menu, because I like them all! But there is a dessert that you cannot miss: the Lamro Cake. A delicious and delicate preparation. They have to try it.
While waiting for some Georgian labels to be added to the wine list soon, especially from the D. O. Tsinandali, we will continue enjoying the delicious food at Lamro. In fact, writing this review has whetted my appetite!

This place is sensational. We had a shared vegetarian plate for 3 people The Food was delicious, and the prices more than fair for big portions. A lot of vegetarian options (especially for panama) but if you wanna eat meat you‘ll find a lot of options as well. Service was very friendly - Honorio, Eva and Adrian vere very attentive and toom good care of us!

This is the best Georgian restaurant we have visited. There is a beautiful decoration and atmosphere, very good dishes are offered by a Georgian chef.
The restaurant managers and staff who provide great service on site are really lovely.
We had a very nice dining experience at “LAMRO”.
I highly recommend you go and taste their delicious dishes.

For some reason this restaurant has taken Casco Viejo by storm. Perhaps it is just because it is new and benefitting from that new restaurant smell. After one visit I am not seeing it. As my wife says, when you go to a restaurant and your favorite dish is the bread, it has to give you cause for pause. The ambience is wonderful...it is a beautiful and comfortable space. The people are really nice, though the servers were decidedly lacking in experience (we are guessing they are family members). And the food is spectacularly beautiful. We just came away wishing it tasted even remotely as good as it looked. With the exception of the mushroom dumplings, which were almost as good as the piping hot Georgian bread, everything was pretty bland; decidedly lacking in any discernible flavor. The beautiful Georgian salad was basically cut up cucumbers and tomatoes and barely dressed. The vegan pates, while gorgeously presented, were really just little piles of tasteless mush with bland and claggy (boiled?) lumps of what they called cornbread adding nothing more than bulk to the dish. The garlic chicken featured my least favorite cuts of chicken essentially par boiled and soaked in what appears to be a the Georgian version of white gravy...basically hot paste with garlic. There is nothing more unappetizing to me as boiled chicken skin. At least one could taste garlic. The other huge miss...no Georgian wine, though to be fair they say this is coming by April. Asking the server for a recommendation from what wines they do have, we were told she doesn't like wine so couldn't help us. An amazingly pleasant young woman and a highlight of our visit, but clearly out of her element. We will give it another try if the Georgian wines come in, but will likely just sit at the bar, sip a Kakheti and order a basket of bread.

This Sunday Lunch was an unexpected gift. We’ve been traveling the world in my husband’s sailing race, and were looking for somewhere to enjoy lunch while doing laundry nearby. I looked up restaurants on Google map, and saw the most delicious pictures. When we stepped inside this beautiful, quaint space, and were greeted by Valeria’s kind smile, we immediately knew we’d found something special. We ordered six dishes that came out like a perfect revolving door of unique dishes. Valeria described how to best enjoy each one, and was impressed that we cleaned every plate! Valeria and Honorio provided the most amazing service, and this restaurant has topped the charts on our favorite meal anywhere in the world. Just outstanding!!!

Knowing a new gastronomy in pty, I also came for the wines but this time they were sold out.
The food was very interesting, I asked Valeria to recommend native dishes from Giorgia, so we ordered an empanada with cheese that was very well prepared, the lamb stew that looked like a soup and the first time she has tried it in that presentation, try The kebah made me understand that they have a lot of Turkish and Arabic influence, the eggplants reminded me of Greece.
The boy Homero recommended that we order the meal to share since we were 3 people. It was already too late because we had ordered what they recommended; Without a doubt, thanks to this we will return for this recommendation to continue tasting.
The speed, excellent. All the food arrived on perfect time, hot, in good presentation.
The attention of Honorio and Valeria was friendly and very attentive the entire time to remove the dishes and consult us about everything.

A must do in Panama! Very cosy and delicious restaurant to do in Old City. The food is excellent and authentic. The stuff pays attention to every detail and makes you feel like a special guest. We were very happy to talk with chef who takes time for every client.

The great guy who works in LAMRO Honorio with good actitud service, showed me the special lunch, it’s really nice, delicious and good price!!
The chef David makes very good food!! I ate all and enjoyed a lot ❤️, will come again 👍🏻

I have always loved Georgian cuisine, so varied and very, very tasty!! And lo and behold!! A real Georgian restaurant "LAMRO" opened so far from Georgia. We came in and at this time we found ourselves in Georgia, with all its national flavor! Sincere owners and staff. We tried all the dishes and it was a gastronomic orgasm, with all the colors and flashes of taste buds. After a wonderful dinner, the atmosphere of the restaurant invites you to indulge in Chita Drita, Chita Margarita..... We advise everyone to try, of course, Khinkali, Adjarian khachapuri and lyulashechka...... mmmmm. Thanks friends. Only this and no less.

This Georgian restaurant in Panama City delivers true tastes of Georgia. I lived in Georgia 2 years and the cuisine is without any doubt the best. At LAMRO, we tried chicken with bazhe nutty sauce, grilled pork and beef barbecue, all 5 sauces and shkmeruli. With the attentive service and a charming ambiance, this place promises an unforgettable culinary journey! Hurry up to try it out!!!

This place is heaven for expatriates who miss international cuisine. Staff is very friendly and they speak English which is very rare here in Panama. Chef David is amazing guide for full culinary experience. I highly recommend to try all dishes with chicken, lamb kebab, Georgian salad and pork skewers.

We were there last week and it was an amazing experience. My family especially liked meat Khinkali (georgian dumplings). it was very fresh and tasty, we highly recommend this dish, also starters like Georgian Salad are very refreshing. The staff is very friendly an helpful.

LAMRO is my discovery in Central America! I have never tried Georgian food before, and it left me speechless. The mix of ingredients and spices are so different from other cuisines. I highly recommend to try Lamb Kebab, Chef’s Marinade, Eclair, Imeruli Khachapuri, Adjaruli Khachapuri and KHINKALI! I tried all three types of khinkali, my favorite was beef and mushroom. Congratulations to Panama for this brilliant spot.

Excellent food, very fresh and authentically Georgian! We spoke with the chef who is Georgian but has lived in Panama many years. The Georgian woman next to us spoke with him in their native language and she was clearly pleased with the cuisine, so I take that as a good sign, from the Georgian perspective! Cute, casual space and everything we ate, from salad to desert, was delicious. Especially loved the dumplings!

My visit to LAMRO in Panama City was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was top notch! But let's talk about the food: I tried the beef khinkali, and it was an unforgettable experience. I opted for the traditional Georgian method with black pepper, and it was simply amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, perfectly capturing the essence of Georgian cuisine. Every bite was a journey of flavor, transporting me to the streets of Tbilisi. If you are in Panama City and want an authentic culinary adventure, LAMRO is a must visit! Highly recommended!
