We loved our experience. The food are very delicious and the service are very good. We take the américain pizza and hongos risotto. You need to take a Nutella pizza!

On a 2 day business trip to Panama city we found Lucca Trattoria on Open Table.
It was a short walk drom our hotel and a big improvement over all the other restaurants we'd eaten in on various stays.
We had an octopus carpaccio, see through thin, lemony good, the gnocchi sorrentino, homemade nocchini, with spicy tomato sauce and mozzarella and a margarita pizza with sausage. Both delicious.
The pizza,was perfectly cooked, crust charred just enough, good red sauce, quality cheese and tasty sausage.
We had to get up very early so a glass of red for me and a peroni were our only drinks.
They had a few good reasonably priced bottles and we would have definately gone for a Puglian for 23$ and desert.
The wait staff was good, but very English challenged, except for one young women who was very helpful.
Food was all cooked to order and brought in a timely but not rushed, manner.
Its a nice place, tables well placed, very well designed. Upscale looking and so were the patron. Great value for money.
My only issues are as always, too many kids, but it was Sunday night and pizza although I don't tend to think of places like that as kid places.
In a spirit of generosity,I kindly still wish people would take their babies and kids to Burger King or at least insist they sit in their seats and act like adults in adult restaurants I recommend Lucca Trattoria to all. Especially the tastefully dressed.

On a normal weekday after 8 pm this restaurant is full of lively and happy people surrounded by family and /or friends. It can not be any other way. The quality of the dishes, the attention to detail, the impeccable service, the great decor and ambiance, all that at a very reasonable price guarantees that this restaurant will continue to attract many clients for years to come.

Anyone I bring to Lucca ends up coming with all their friends and family. Everytime I come, service is excellent, each and everyone of the saloon waiters are great, my two last waiters Ricardo and Dixon are great in attention, super amicable, they even go the long way and pamper you, updating you about the promotions and just always attentive to you.
Food wise, I mean a restaurant is about food and everything I have tried is excellent. My favorites all pizzas but the most striking combination is pizza azzura (parmesan, blue cheese, almonds, pear). For pasta, to mention a few, gnocchi al pesto rustico, sorrentinos ai funghi, penne alla norma are the best pasta for me. Entrees, carpaccios, focaccias, i mean this truly is a great placento go eat with whatever excuse you can come up with.

Great pizzas, lovely friendly staff, excellent wine. One guest a coeliac so very happy that there are gluten free pizzas and pasta.
Nice atmosphere too, a real find in P, City. Thanks ❤️

Yesterday 24th January I visited pizza restaurant Lucca in order to test highly rated pizza and was very disappointed. They served me burnt pizza. May be somebody prefere like this pizza, me not.I left the restaurant and nobody from the staff to say something, to apologise.

Great service, Great food, great drinks. Nice atmosphere. A lot of home made items on the menu, they were all good. Gluten free options, very accommodating. Definitely recommend if you want Italian. Only one item, the lemoncello Did remind me of authentic Italian lemoncello. It was still tasty but we like the thick syrupy kind.

Luca is an excellent choice if you want to spend a nice time with friends, family or in a date. Excellent food at a reasonable price. We had a wine that the waitress Elizabeth recommended us, clams, a pizza, a carbonara pasta and a wonderful dessert. Supper recommended the restaurant and all the attentions that Elizabeth had with us; considering that we had no reservation, the restaurant was full and even; we had a wonderful time.

Wandered over to another neighborhood and found Lucca which is a well-known restaurant for residents. It is reasonably large and they were able to seat us which was fortunate as it filled after we arrived and there was a line to get in. The menu is reasonable and we tried the veggie pizza as well as the pasta with shrimp alio olio. Both were fairly good though not at the level of delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant offered a pleasant ambience with just the sounds of people talking. Prices were reasonable.

We had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant as it is located to the back of the building but the signage out front helped us to find our way. The staff was very attentive to us during our meal and they even had gluten free pizzas! While some of the staff did not speak English, the menus were in English which greatly helped us even though it was a very tough decision to make with so many good options! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and dessert (their Nutella ice cream). The staff was also very courteous to us and there were many families coming in to have a meal.

I walked past this place for a month and never noticed it. My partner pointed out the sign one night and we thought, why not give it a try? At the end of the janky gym parking lot there's a door. I thought it might be a fire escape for the gym or something, but oh no! What an exquisite restaurant. New and chic, packed with people. Real positive vibe. It was a Friday night and we didn't have a reservation but the hostess was extremely kind. I got a carpaccio appetizer, caccio e peppe pasta, and tiramisu and we split a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent. The carpaccio was buttery tender in a nice tuna sauce, the pasta tasted quite strongly of actual, real cheese, and the tiramisu was excellent. I'm going to go back in three or four weeks when I'm hungry again

Had a wonderful time at Lucca this evening. Elizabeth was our server and she was spectacular. There were 12 of us and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. I had the chicken lasagna with white sauce and the Caprese salad but most relatives ordered different types of pizza. Elizabeth checked on us frequently and didn't skip a beat. Thanks Elizabeth, you're the best!!

I took my girlfriend to this restaurant only from recommendations and it was the best choice I made on my first day here at Panama. The food was amazing! Every meal we had and the dessert was exceptional. Our waiter took his time translating from Spanish to English as we do not know much Spanish and was very patient in doing so. Honestly was just a joy to have a waitress enjoying his job with a smile on his face! His name is Riccardo, I’m sure you’ll notice him straight away :) Gracias!

I had high hopes of authentic Italian food like in Italy. Aside from the pizza oven, that's were it ends. The Mozzarella moisture content was too low, causing rubbery texture. The balsamic vinegar...it's definitely not of designated origin and tasted like sour water. The meats were also of questionable origin and quality, especially for the price.

Very good experience! It starts that they have sufficient parking spots which sometimes is a problem in Panama. We were nicely greeted at the entrance and escorted to our table. The waiter attended us rapidly. I ordered Pan RĂşstica and a pizza quattro formaggio. The meals were very tasty and the ingredients of the pizza just delicious.
The pizza was a bit small for my taste but despite that I would still rate it 5 stars. It is one of the best pizza places I have eaten in town. Prices are ok for the quality of the food.
