Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great evening at the terrace of Grand Pacific Hotel (actually Prince Albert Restaurant and Levuka Restaurant - both in Grand Pacific Hotel - share terrace and menu). Next to it is a nice bar where they played live music, Oceanside views to sunset are stunning. Dinner/food (Fiji Kokoda which is a fish ceviche and the Deep Sea Pakapaka) as well as service by waiter Taniela were amazing - can strongly recommend!

We stayed at the Grand Pacific while touring Fiji last week. At dinner, I ordered the rack of lamb and it ranks near the top of the best meals I've ever eaten. The staff were wonderful, the setting was perfect...highly recommended.

Had dinner while visiting Suva with friends from Savusavu and it sure lived up to the reviews. The main courses were excellent, as were the desserts and the drinks. Service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic!

The Grand Pacific hotel is a must visit. We enjoyed a late lunch on the Terrace and would loved to experience the restaurant for dinner. The views are amazing, even on a overcast day. The building is architecturally beautiful and restored wonderfully. The history and the visitors to have graced this building is also captivating. The food, service and charm of this place is to be experienced. Large car park and if in Suva the Grand Pacific hotel would be a great stay.

Oh my... a truly wonderful stay at this wonderful hotel, only made better by this wonderful restaurant. The buffet breakfast is wonderful with so much food to chose from, all of which is delightful on the tastebuds. The dinner we had was steak for my husband and the crayfish for myself both of which were very good and then all the extras and trimmings with them were done to perfection and so artistically plated. Then the sunset on this particular evening was the most spectacular one we have ever seen, a picture perfect ending to great day!

I had a day to wander in Suva while my partner attended to business. This was my first port of call for breakfast. A continental buffet suited me with endless coffee. And a view on the patio to make it all worthwhile. This is definitley luxury for those wishing 5 star service.

The GPH boasts a wonderful menu with both an international and Fijian flavour. We sat outside in the terrace which was a more relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. All and all a fantastic fine dining experience!

Our last minute decision to dine at Prince Albert was amply rewarding this evening. We are Kailomo so are familiar with the culinary offerings at GPH (Grand Pacific Hotel) though had never had cause to attend the fine dining option. In summary our meal was exquisite and our wonderful server Elizabeth was an absolutely credit to the restaurant. Unfortunately I did not photograph our starters however I highly recommend the scallops and the coconut milk poached pork. Both were divine! For mains we had the Ika (fish) and Pork Belly Canneloni and dessert was house made honeycomb panna cotta and ginger poached plantain.... Delicious!!

I come to Suva very often for work and Ive eaten almost everywhere. GPH is expensive but you must try it, there is nothing else like it. Dont order safe bland dishes here. Try some of their local or fusion dishes, which are superb. They pack so many flavours onto one plate! My favs are the honey river prawns for entree and the dalo mushroom pastry for main. I crave these dishes when im back home. Service is fast and friendly.

Excellent value for fine dining experience but dishes lacked finesse. Sadly only one other person was in the restaurant at the time.
