What a great restaurant just on the edge of Suva city. Got the opportunity to have dinner and was presently surprised with this gem.
A great relaxed venue with indoor and outdoor seating options, we elected a table on the verandah and with the soft evening lighting it was a nice ambiance.
A good and extensive menu with plenty of options for all, from causal daytime snack options to more extensive dinner options. Meal portions were of good size and prices were reasonable and consistent with similar venues in Suva. The staff were very polite and professional.
I totally enjoyed this restaurant and shall return my next time in Suva.

We had a fantastic experience here with my family, including a visiting family friend from the states. With a party of nine, we were delighted to find accommodations. The food surpassed expectations; the T-bone steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, a rarity in Suva. The live band contributed to the lively atmosphere, offering inclusive tunes. Our waiter, Tiki, provided warm hospitality. Overall, the combination of great food, music, and service made for a splendid dining experience. Vinaka.

We had a relaxed lunch, served by the lovely Mere.
We had Fijian specialities, Kokoda (marinated fish with chilies, onions, cucumbers and coconut milk) and Creamy Rourou Baigani Tavu (Aubergine, spinach, and a whole lot of lovely spices cooked in coconut milk?) with grilled fish, and both were delicious. Sitting on the outside veranda overlooking the playing fields and tennis courts creates a peaceful atmosphere.
It’s simply lovely.

It's is clear that the restaurant is more focused on expatriates than locals.
We had a pre-booking for 9pax and our meals fully paid before arriving on the day of the booking. As it was a requirement to pay atleast 50% of the food order before hand. We fully paid a week before.
Upon arrival which was at 5pm, we had to wait for almost 5hrs before our food was brought to us. We had to call the attendants to remind them that there were a few orders yet to be brought to our table. The dissapointing part was, others that came after us were receiving their order before ours.
Sa rauta mada na veivaduiduitaki, our $$ is as good as the expatriates that walk through your doors.
Never again will we even think about eating at this restaurant.

First off, I had a Banana Smoothy that was very good.
I ordered grilled octopus and when it was served, it was lukewarm.
I started eating a piece of octopus ring and part was in my mouth and the other part caught half way down my throat because unbeknown to me the selvage had not been removed. After a few minutes of coughing and gagging, it all went down without fully choking or vomiting. The octopus was served on a bed of fried char potatoes but unfortunately the manner of serving meant that the crispness was long gone. A little effort, items served separately on a hot iron dish would have made a world of difference.

I ordered the prawn and fish spicy linguine, it was just okay. The prawns were perfectly cooked, the pasta was hot and cold, not hot through. It was not spicy but very salty, and I love salt , usually add salt, so for me to say too salty…it’s a lot of salt.
My husband had the pan seared fish filet, it was cooked perfectly, the potatoes and veggies were on the cold side.

I’m just so pissed, we had made reservations for a surprise birthday lunch like weeks in advance for Sunday the 2nd of January and had called on the 31st of December to reconfirm this booking we were advised verbally and In written the reservations was confirmed and the restaurant will be open. On the day of the surprise lunch we received a call advising the restaurant will be closed till dinner time and we are to move our time, this is pathetic and worse customer service. If the restaurant thinks we are not regulars I can email a statement of how much I used to spend there while I was in Fiji. I live abroad and I needed my brother to have the best birthday and I made sure nothing was done last minute just to avoid disappointments like this but I guess this time
The table has turned. Just very very dissatisfied and really pissed. I’m sure the management will not give a damn about the disappointment they caused. Pathetic
Email and Viber correspondence to confirm every detail and yet they messed up the plan, just very disappointing. Even on Facebook page their open hours are from 11.30am

The coffee we had was divine. They sure do know how to make a proper Long Black! Cremer was thick and the coffee not bitter. Excellent Macchiatos & Affogato! the correct Italian way! we also had desserts. The tiramisu I would say is the best in Fiji! I've been around Fiji and have tasted desserts from other big restaurants and
cafes in the end of the day Paradiso are King. Not over decorated nor loaded with sugar it was just right!

Fantastic food and exemplary service. Our waiter Tiki met us at the door and introduced himself. He was very friendly and professional. We were visiting and he made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
We had a great view and table on the verandah.
We wanted to experience Fijian food and we were not disappointed it was all interesting and delicious.
We shared the kokoda as an entree and had two fish dishes one each and shared a dessert. There were lots of choices if you didn’t want Fijian food. The food was fresh and well presented. Tiki was attentive and always smiling. It made our day

Had a great experience here food was lovely but the fish from the fish and chips was a bit tough. Our waiter Melanie was great very friendly and accommodating to our big group. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others !

This restaurant has been operating for at least a couple of years now and it is fast becoming one of my preferred dining venues.
They have managed to maintain a reasonable quality of menu items despite the challenges Covid presented and they continue to improve - to a consistent standard that puts them into my top three picks for Suva.
A good variety of dishes that covers a wide spectrum of personal choice and budgets - from pizza to quality tenderloin, with a quality wine list to match.
Service is consistently great and the live music sessions are an added bonus.
Definitely should be on your list!

Ben Sau is the best! And the food is amazing. We came in without a reservation and were seated immediately. Seafood and meat specials were served fast and tasted excellent. We were treated to a lovely live music performance on the veranda. Hack recommendation: add a bongo chili to ya jug of kumquat juice. Service applause: Ben Sau showed us a real time photo of the desert bar. Very effective. Vinaka vakalevu Ben Sau and Paradiso.

Our waiter Niko was friendly, super attentive and gave us some great recommendations. The food was all great, but he recommended the tiramisu which was divine! Great live music duo and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I also liked that o could have a great Italian meal, while my partner had a delicious local fish and sides, so we were both very happy

Went to Paradiso after a long time since we had a bad experience (one of my colleagues still waiting for his order!). It was a bad idea since my food was more than salty (lasagna). We had to wait for a long time before the food reach our table. The customers seating next to us left since no one was taking care of them. Maybe take less bookings if you can not handle it! I’m sad because it could be a nice place to go and relax. More focus on customers is needed.

Great Italian and local dishes. Well priced. Great vegetarian options available and one of the best cumquat juice in the city. The cheesecake, costing FJD$9 is delicious and can be enjoyed by 2 adults after a meal.
