We had dinner at this restaurant and one can think that restuarants at hotels are not Wow. This one was. It is situated in Marriott hotel in Santiago Las Condes. The food was good , the service was also good. You have to make reservation for dining. My husband had rack of lamb and he enjoyed. I had salmon with sauted veggies. Nothing to complain. The ambience is nice , quiet and trendy.

We ate there the first night we were in Santiago thinking that staying in the hotel was the best option after an overnight flight and our first time in the city. We had read the reviews and had better than “hotel restaurant” expectations, but WOW! It was amazing. The “small” 9 oz angus was perfect, as was the sea bass. We were so impressed that we canceled our reservations at a highly recommended restaurant in the city and ate at the Latin Grill again the second night. Again, it exceeded expectations. This time the grilled tuna was one of the best I have ever had. The waiters are attentive and friendly without being overbearing and there is an excellent wine selection available.

Excellent meal. The salmon,ribs,lamb and and mushroom soup were all fresh tasty and well cooked.Service was excellent and food arrived at different times per order which meant some wait time for some. You need to work with the server to figure how many courses you wish. We all had a wonderful meal of Chilean cooked dishes. You can be as adventurous (or not so) as you like. English and Spanish speaking and bilingual menu on individual iPads.

My husband and I were staying at the Marriott last weekend and were unable to get a reservation Friday night so we booked for Saturday evening to be our last dinner in Santiago . Neither of us are meat eaters but being in Santiago , we decided to eat Patagonian lamb and a steak . Well , the rack of lamb was sheer perfection, definitely worth the wait for , perfection. The most delicious lamb I’ve ever had . My husband’s steak reminded us why we liked steak , and why we stopped eating meat that is factory farmed in the USA. We couldn’t eat dessert as we ate every bite on our plate . Our waiter Rodrigo made the meal fun and everyone who served us had a smile on their faces. There was a wedding going on outside in the courtyard so the whole scene was magical , plus the piano player. The Latin Grill lived up to the hype . I will dream of those lamb chops whenever I crave meat . Thank you for a wonderful farewell meal .

Thanks Trip Advisor. If not for the reviews here our group would not have found the Latin Grill, We generally avoid hotel restaurants but this was an amazing exception and is located outside the main Marriott property in a lovely landscaped garden. Early on a Monday night the place was packed which is a tribute to the excellent food, service and value. Our party of four all had different seafood dishes and shared a variety of sides. The quality of the food and service was top notch as were the suggestions for some stellar local wines. The I pads made for easy ordering and final bill was surprisingly low. Cannot recommend more favorably;.

Probamos el tártaro de ciervo y realmente está muy bien logrado el equilibrio entre el tártaro y la masa de mil hojas de papas.
Adicionalmente el costillar de Res otra sorpresa en esta carta.
Y finalmente pero no menos importante la atención excepcional que hace grande y ha construido la excelente reputación del Latín Grill es la excelente atención de Miguel, Juan Paulo, Cesar, Alfredo, Javier, Davidson, Yesika, Jorge, Victor, Patricio y todo el equipo Latin Grill

Today we experience 2 dishes at Latin Grill and really it was a great experience in flavors the tartar was awesome and a unweavering balance between the potatoes and flesh and the ribs was excelent. But at least but not last all the Team that make this happen that are the visible face Of the Latin Grill Already describe in the above words that make that this experience be the best including Estevan the Piano Man that plays here since Ths last 10 years……..thanks Latin Grill and Marriott Team for all this.

I ate at the bar (was alone) and the service from the bartender was excellent. Not too sure if there is one every night, but there was a gentleman there playing the piano and it made for a great atmosphere. I ordered the assorted salad & the skirt steak. I must say the salad was amazing!!! The couple next to me recommended it. I paired it with the skirt steak and both were great.

Great place to go if you want a quiet and romantic setting .
Staff-
First off the staff were great in terms of attentiveness and checking in on you on the food . Very polite and they know when you want your space .
Ambience -
Great ambience to celebrate date night, family eating or just to be alone . That have a pianist on weekend nights .
Food-
Nice food with great presentation. Tried the seafood and it was good .
Price-
Decent price within a 5 star hotel - perhaps a 10-20% markup from surrounding restaurants but you are paying for exclusivity .
Return?
Yes if I happen to be in Chile in future .

This was the best dinner we had in South America!

We tried a variety here and all dishes were exceptional. I would recommend the salmon , the filet and their house salad. The service was good , and staff friendly. Would recommend especially if staying in the Marriott.

The food at this restaurant in the Marriott is exquisite and reasonably priced for what you receive. We tried the ‘Experience Menu’ - a pre fixe 4 course meal with Chilean wine pairings for $45 (US). We enjoyed tuna tartare, seafood pasta, strip steak and dessert, each delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance is relaxed and service excellent. I can’t say enough about this fine restaurant other than don’t miss the chance to experience it!!

By far this is one of the best gourmet food experiences I’ve ever had! Usually service is not great in Chile but our waiter Fernandos was over the top amazing!! He provided incredible service from the moment we sat down until the very end!! We were three co-workers enjoying the gourmet food experience which comprised of four dishes, one appetizer, one main seafood dish, one main meat dish and a dessert. Each dish seemed to be better than the last right down to the very last bite! It was like food porn! Each bite was almost orgasmic to the palette! The flavours of sauce blended so well with each dish that you just wanted more and just when you thought it couldn’t get better the next dish comes out and you are thrown into another whirlwind of flavours! It is definitely a restaurant that I would definitely come back and highly recommend! I think back home in Canada I’d be paying a fortune for the exquisite cuisine that we had tonight!!
