I stayed at the Pullman Santiago Vitacura for my 53rd birthday. It was the first time I traveled outside of the country myself. I usually travel with family and friends. So I ate at Ofelia everyday because I LOVED the food and the people. When I first walked up, I was either greeted by Yasna or Sharon! They were so pleasant and welcoming to me! They remembered my name after the first day and were so gracious each time!
I was escorted to the breakfast buffet where I met Pelusa, Erna and the Sous Chef (I forgot his name)! Even though there was a language barrier, we began to talk and they talked about and explained the food to me! After that, they made sure they came from the BOH (Back of the House - kitchen) to speak with me each time I ate at Ofelia.
The entire wait staff was remarkable. They served with such excellence! Gubrierth, Alejandro, Jorge, Simon, Fabian, Barbara, Javier, Luis, Jorge, Felipe, Adrian (the other twin) and Sebastian were ALL FANTASTIC! I did not want to eat at other restaurants because of the wonderful hospitality that they offered!
They brought out a cake, made sure it read, “Happy Birthday Adilah Brodie,” and sang to me! It was truly special! Each day that followed, they knew what type of coffee I drank, where I preferred to sit, what I ate first, and showered me with genuine love and care.
The day I left, they all hugged and wished me a safe trip! NOW THAT’S SUPERB HOSPITALITY!! You don’t learn that, you are born with it! They were all born with the gift of service and hospitality!
I normally don’t take pictures of my food but I added the few I did take.
MUCHO GRACIAS!!! I can’t wait to return to the Pullman, eat at Ofelia and see all my NEW family again!

The staff went above and beyond for our group! Everyone was so friendly and nice - they even hosted a wine tasting for us! Loved the Chilean wines- but loved the staff and atmosphere more!!! Thank you!!!

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday for dinner. It was almost empty. We ordered hummus for an appetizer. It was not the traditional hummus, very thin with no tahini flavor and with lots of pickled vegetables. But it tasted good and we enjoyed it. For the main, my husband ordered beef tartare. It had too much lemon juice in it to the point that lemon was all you could taste. I ordered the tuna salad. It was presented as a main course but only had three tiny tuna medallions and three small slices of potatoes. It was mostly lettuce. Despite having almost no customers, the service was non existent.

Always challenging to have food in an hotel.
Here again, I am afraid.
The menu is tempting with a good selection of dishes, but food was not great.
The wine was okay, and the cocktails a bit short of liquid but 2/3 full of ice cubes (for $8,500) ...yet it was good, and the pisco too.
Service is good with a friendly yet professional staff.
Expensive for what it is.

The most amazing staff! Javiera, Yasna, Luis, Adrian, Gubierth did an amazing job! Super friendly took care of us and went above and beyond! If I could give them a higher rating I would! Just fantastic staff!
