My family invited me for my bday and I was taken away. I am a big fan of Tepanyaki and the chef did not stand behind anything I have experienced in Japan. Can only recommend

Terrible experience. We arrived at 15:15 pm. The reception girl informed us no table available. After 5 minutes, we saw two families finished lunch and left. Then we decided to return to ask table. But the reception girl refused us again and said the kitchen was full of orders. So in the beginning said to us maybe we will need to wait to long, but when the table get free she changd the version saying she can't receive us even was at least two tables available because the kitchen can't give us attention.
I never experience something like this. Plus the reception girl' attitude was so bad. I won't return to that restaurant.

The ambience is nice, very decorated, plenty of space. We had dinner at the terrace. Service is excellent, they are very attentive and friendly. Prices are high, and food is good. We had a couple of complaints about the food, but overall it was good.

Always a pleasure to come back to Sabor y Aroma, a restaurant that offers Peruvian, Japanese and Chilean dishes. Quality is consistently very good, especially entrée and main dishes. I like most the Peruvian dishes, Service is attentive, rapid if you go a little earlier than it gets crowdy. Wine list is also attractive. A bit pricy but aligned with the quality one gets. Santiago´s restaurants are not cheap. Free underground parking is a nice treat.

We had a moment of insecurity when the restaurant was to be close according to the navigation, but no restaurant seemed to be there. When it suddenly was there, the elegant, slightly luxurious place seemed to be a little out of place in its surroundings and it made us hesitate if we were out of place ourselves as well.
It sticked a bit as we were professionally welcomed. During our entire stay the service was impeccable. Thank you for making us feel special guests.
We ordered some dishes that were suitable to share and were astonished by the presentation of the first collection of maki, neri and sashimi. Next to the presentation, the taste was sublime. A bit of criticism could be directed at the pulpo, which was chewy. This was well compensated by tuna and salmon that melted on the tongue.
According to our friends it’s a challenge to find a good “coulant” in Santiago. Sabor y Aroma is in this selected group.

I read the other reviews: this is one of the best meals ive had in awhile. Unique, tasty value for the money, and outstanding service. I had the ensalada del mar and it was fabulous. Not overcooked no heavy american style dressing and well portioned ingredients.
I highly recomend this place. Wonderful outdoor al fresco dining, clean modern and again, the help was on task and attentive. We are from Santa Barabara Ca and this place blows the doors off the expensive, unispired, craft that has taken over local eateries. Bring your friends and have them be impressed with your find - Mike Pitts

Peruvian and Japanese (sushi as well as Teppanyaki). Everything we tried was excellent. Short wine list but with a good selection at reasonable prices. Service was extremely slow and several times we had to actually get up from the table to get a a waiter's attention (in our previous visit the service was excellent). Very good value for money. Will return despite problem with the service.

Pretty place with nice terrace in upscale residential neighborhood. Large so you can skip reservations. Service very good. Food was nice, not full of flavor, but good. Average price comes to like USD 35 per person without alcohol.

We went for our last night dinner, the space is nice, seems like a hotel restaurant, nothing bold in decorations, just simple and elegant. The pisco of the house is good, should try the risotto with lamb, and the salmon with the yellow aji cream. Was an amazing last dinner.
