¡GREEN GOURMET IN CHILE! ¡école! restaurant is open from 8 am to 10 pm every day. Everything is homemade and prepared daily. Our high-energy breakfasts are wholesome and abundant, including homemade granola and yogurt, local eggs, fresh juices, brewed coffee. For lunch and dinner we offer a variety of healthy options. All dishes are served with our own homemade whole grain bread and fresh salsa. Enjoy our famous patio under our beautiful grape arbor , or our indoor dining room. Beautiful buildings and patio. Truly great vegetarian food that will make you feel good and you won't miss meat at all. I don't see why you'd come to pucon and not stop by at least for some food if not to stay.
Also, I had some business to attend to during my visit and used the wifi. Good connection and the people were nice about me sitting there and working for a few hours without bothering me.

Our family of five adults ate soup, salads, amazingly, delicious, entrées, dessert, and drinks for $76. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend. We’ll be back. There were also vegetarian vegan and gluten-free options for one of our party who needed it.

I came to this most incredible place with a group and we absolutley LOVED it!!!! Above and beyond all expectations. Not only was the food organic, delicious, and a cultural experience, we also stayed at the hostal as well which was as wonderful as the food. In fact, we have all discussed extending our stay. This place in clean, fun, packed with character. There is new management as of October 2024 and the new owners are incredibly experienced in the realm of organic cuisine and hospitality for travelers. You will love it. If anything, I would like to keep it a secret because its that special! Definitly the best hostal experience anyone of have had and we are all seasoned travelers.

Very good vegetarian food.
Tasty and light. One dish was enough for the two of us.
There are a few different dinning spaces. We stayed in the patio (hey, it’s summer!)
Service was a bit slow as there was only one waiter. I guess they were not expecting all the guests coming for lunch at 2pm. Will find out when we go back.

This was easily the best place we ate at in Pucon, possibly in the whole of our Chile trip. There's a wide choice of imaginative vegetarian food, inexpensive, and served in relaxed, low key surroundings.

I had a cup of coffee in the place, nice vibe, nice coffee and they also gave me a map of Pucon
Considering that it’s very difficult in Chile to get a map or a brochure if anything, that was something of an achievement
We didn’t have lunch there, but the food and the prices looked very good

Small menu with affordable prices. I tried the burrito dish and it was ok. I recommend it to people who like vegan food. Only complain could be that they mixed up the order of our drinks otherwise they provided good attention.

Has many vegetarian options and big plates...homecooking foh shoh. Nice to go with a great bunch of peeps and the hit their internal bar....they do have a hostel!

I really like this place. I went to Pucon for a conference and instead of staying in the conference hotel I booked the ecole! I have been there before and remember the breakfast very fondly. The room was also nice, clean and since I remembered to bring my own towel (it's a hostel not a 5 star hotel where you get the towels) there was no extra fee for that. Pucon is a small place, not the most modern city, so don't be surprised about them being concerned about the plumbing and water usage. The staff is very nice and very helpful (also helps to organize things), and don't forget, the ecole! is just one block of the main road, very central. You don't go to Pucon to stay in your room, so no TV, no mini bar, no balcony. But who cares , if you have a volcano, the Trancura river and the Huerquehue National Park nearby. In case you do- the wifi was just as good as in our conference hotel- called Gran Hotel Pucon. Enjoy!

The food is excellent, but the accommodations are non-existent. They charge for the use of a bath towel, the wifi is useless, the bed is about 30 inches wide, and the room has one outlet. They encourage you to drop used toilet paper in the trash and shower with a friend. There was a huge spider in the shared shower my first time.
Don't expect coffee before 8am, and then only in the restaurant.
It's cheap for a reason.

First at all I am not a Vegetarian but I love to eat here , becouse the food is warm tasty and the space is with a spacial identity, and for the city of Pucon is under a reasonable price tooo the only thing they need to get better is a good dessert and a better wine cave!

I stayed at a room with 4 beds on 2nd floor opposite end of bathroom.
I woke up with many insects bites so inspected my bed. immediately the morning... I found a bed bug under my pillow..... There were blood stains on other beds.... I reported this incident and gave that bedbug I caught to the hostel. Our room was switched to the much better rooms for the next night and didn't get bedbug bites.... Foods at the restaurant were great and I enjoyed, but whole bedbug experience totally destroyed my entire trip. I have to live with the nightmare that I might brought bugs back home.... I have to write thit review because I don't want this happen to anyone again!

My husband and I were struggling for veggie options in Chile so were delighted to find out we were staying next door to Ecole! All their food is vegetarian, we went twice and all the dishes were delicious, including lasagne, burritos, nachos, gnocchi and chorillana. Staff were very friendly and the outside area is a nice place to sit. Slightly outside the main part of town but well worth going to.

3800-5400 main dish. Burritos were good option.
