Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely little place for homemade soup and a sandwich out of the wind. Friendly owner let us have a look at the Penguin News (local newspaper) without buying one, and in it we saw we'd be around for Government House Open Garden Day. Enjoyed that very much and wouldn't have known of it were it not for the Teaberry lady. Thanks for the great soup and friendly welcome.

Nice tiny little cafe next to the museum in Stanley. Does good coffee and hot drinks and has a small selection of sandwiches, savoury items and cakes/biscuits. I really enjoyed the brownie and the chai latte. Only a few chairs and small table to sit at but benches outside too for nice days. Does takeaway coffee!

Called in for lunch before heading to the nearby Museum. Good selection of food at a reasonable price. Friendly and polite service. Choice of savoury and sweet with both hot and cold drinks. Well worth calling into. Clean and well laid out cafe. There are some seats for indoor eating and others outside.

Very small cafe in the grounds of the museum. Inside only room for 4 to 6 customers but plenty of room outside if the weather favourable and take away too. Serves best coffee I've found so far, and a good selection of cakes and snacks. Staff friendly and helpful. Been a couple of times now and will go again.

This is a tiny little cafe with great coffee, tea, sandwiches and sweets but think of it as a Take-out as there is very little space to sit inside. It's part of the buildings surrounding the museum and there are places to sit outside with great views across the sea. No WiFi.

Good alternative to Shorty's diner. Good sandwiches, coffees etc. If you do not have much time it is the perfect place to fill a gap between appointments to get fed up.

Good choice of coffee. Not much for anyone with any dietary needs. Very small inside - tables outside. Interesting sandwiches / salads / cakes.

The small cafe in the Museum premises was a small and cozy place with sandwiches and hot beverages BUT no free wifi. It may not be their fault as all other places in the island sold the same wifi pay 45min cards , but they told me in advance that the cards were NOT their business and if they did not work i could ask for a reimburse there. I should go somewhere else. Not the best way to convince somebody that is buying something to go ahead and finish the sale. We had a coffee and left.

This is a tiny cafe with very limited seating that is on the property of the Museum. Good for coffee, tea or a little snack.
