Quality and taste of food is below average. 'Shio-yaki' was basically saltless and tasteless most of the time. Sashimi didn't taste yummy at all. Pretty disappointed with the food taste.

Food was good. Sashimi was fresh & all dishes above average. Service was also good but the ambience can be improved.Tables were too close & too small for 2 pax.

Although there are 30 new items on the menu, it was quite disappointing. Nothing special, just plain and simple dishes.

The sashimi was good. Orders came quite promptly after we submitted it. View from the window was great. Great variety available for ordering. Pity no salmon roe though

The most busy restaurant in the Central and with good reasons. Sushi is fine with large pieces but otherwise standard. Ask for a window seating so you can overlook the Quays.

90-seat restaurant in the heart of Singapore. Open for lunch and dinner throughout the year except for 4 days (Lunar New Year Eve to Lunar Third Day). Wide selection of Japanese cuisines – authentic, savory and affordable. All-you-can-eat premium ala-carte buffet for only SGD41.90 (adult) | SGD23.90 (child below 1.2m tall) | free (child in baby chair). Over 150 dishes including our signature thick cut sashimi (raw seafood). Fast and friendly service even when restaurant is full (and that’s most times). Choice of sitting at the sushi bar, keyaki booths (train seats) or dining halls overlooking the picturesque Singapore River. Learn about Japanese sake (fermented rice spirit) when you chance upon our founder, Mr William Chia, retired banker and ‘international Kikisake-shi’ (sake sommelier). His son, John runs the restaurant. Very hands-on, he may be preparing your sushi, delivering food to your table or washing dishes in the kitchen. Book your seat early to avoid disappointment
