Xia long bao are the best because the dough around is very thin compare to elsewhere. But lately there was a lack of flavour in the pork mix inside. A bit disappointing. The truffle ones were full of flavour still. The pak choi are delicious...as well as black fungus vinegar.More

Environment is clean and comfortable, many waiters beside and wait you to place order which make customer get pressure. Food is light in taste, not as good as few years ago.

definitely a michelin star restaurant ! on a weekend night dinner for 2, there was a decent amount of waiting time, they offer sharing tables also. but i would suggest prior reservations if you are looking for a private table. food is good, lot of...dimsum options, but i felt it wasnt very good for indian diners are vegetarian options are absent and simple chicken dishes are also few, you can choose between water or chinese tea as they serve one or the either on chargable basis, even red chilly (which is really hot!) is charged extra. i would say a decent dinner place maybe even better for people who like to experiment with different meats, set up is modern and simple not exactly a fine dine. tables are lined up close to each other and the place tends to get quite loud but its definitely enjoyable and livelyMore

Din Tai Fung is a famous dim sum restaurant chain from Taiwan. Various branches got recommended by Michelin and some even a star. Comfortable atmosphere, good service, relatively low prices for a Michelin place and taste is also great. Definitely good to go.

This was my first visit at this location. I was happy to see no line up on a weekday night for dinner time for two people. Fast, efficient service with nice attention to detail. E.g. They provide covers for your jacket or shopping bags. Menu...is very clear in English and Chinese and clear about what dishes are vegetarian, have pork, have chicken in the broth etc. This is very considerate for those with dietary restrictions (I don't have any, but if you do, you can easily see which dishes you can eat). The Xiao long bao are the star here. Delicate and perfect wrapper, juicy pork inside. The vegetable steamed dumplings are delicious too. The greens were great because sometimes when traveling it is hard to get enough vegetables. Dan dan noodles are another signature dish here. After visiting multiple locations it's good to see that the standard is consistent. Prices are very reasonable. This remains my go to for Shanghainese food in HK.More

Menu has changed and there are less dim sum items which is a little sad. It’s definitely more expensive but still very high quality. A nice treat for Sunday brunch.

Din Tai Fung equals to xiao long bao. This Taiwanese restaurant chain is an international brand. This branch is at the heart of bustling Tsim Sha Tsui. Food is the typical fare. Xiao long bao is as nice as ever. Other things are less remarkable....Price is reasonable and service is good.More
