Birthday celebration brunch with bestie. The whole experience in general is good. First time being here and not sure if I will come again. Not that anything bad but it hasn’t got a WOW factor. It is actually a bit confusing how to get to the lift to there, since it says at Mondrian Hotel and getting into the hotel lobby is pretty chaotic and can’t find any sign. I then was kind of lost in the hotel lift and have to come out again. Arrival experience that they try to create, however, there’s only one receptionist when you arrived, you’re not sure where to find people or if need to be seated? Since the arrival that they serve with a welcome drink, and then address you to your table. Brunch hours that I believe they will expect potentially more than 1 party arrived. Just I guess they need at least two receptionists. Seated on a table for two which maybe our reservation was kind of last minute, I was a bit surprised the table is quite small when you think of how much they want to put onto the table afterwards. Staff has been friendly, sincere and a bit green. Since all menus are almost same except depending which main course steak you chose. However, we weren’t told that we have to choose right away where we were seated over 5 mins having nothing on the table after the server explained what would be expected for the brunch. We didn’t order free flow of drinks at the beginning as really not sure if we would like to. Kind of awkward we were just seated and no bread roll or anything for a while. Just think they may need more staff as they don’t charge cheap and although that’s not FINE dining but.. the style aren’t casual dining, at least the price isn’t. To be honest, the first experiment that I was a bit regretted of paying such price for such services. They may think I am not an easy guests as I look at the table when they seated us, and how the next table with all the free flow wine glasses, bread rolls, appetizer, I think I will be stressed of worrying the glasses fell off (and next table at the end did have glass knocked off. The food was good, or as an up to standard. Best was actually the warm beef salad, the sauce of the pasta, the main course steak was good but not WOW. I do want to address that one of their server, I forgot to ask for his name as they don’t have name tag. Was good. He has been attentive and friendly. Allowing us to try if we like the Prosecco before ordering. Making sure food order was in place. (Also because there is a scene next door people were Too excited about free flow and drinking a bit too much). Tiramisu is a highlight as was good. Overall, food is good and price was actually about HKD1100 per pax with free flow of normal package.

Everything was impeccable. We were there for the weekend "Nose-to-Tail" brunch and it was well worth it! The location and decor are stunning, the set menu is generous (unlimited appetizer and sides, all we had to decide on was the main dish which was made to share), and the staff were very attentive, helpful, and considerate (we had a pregnant friend and they kindly offered her pillows to make her feel more comfortable). One of the best weekend brunch experiences in HK. Would 100% go back

An exceptional brunch experience at Italian steakhouse Carna by Dario Cechinni. We were pampered by the exceptional hospitality from the very beginning. As this was our first time there, we did not know that the lift to the restaurant should be the one outside the hotel. The hotel staff at the lobby walked us to the restaurant lift and friendly chat with us about the newly opened hotel. Being there too early, we were offered to chill out at Avoca on 38/F with stunning seaview and waited there until Carna was open. We all loved the restaurant’s contemporary ambience and beautiful décor. Our party of 7 was offered a very comfortable private dining room. It was a full house yesterday, yet the service was very efficient. The manager and staff were skillful, attentive, knowledgeable and reliable. They gave us good advice on the main for sharing. Re-orderings of appetizers were quickly noted and served. A good variety of food was included in the brunch. I love the rich, beefy flavored Chuck Flap most, which was cooked beautifully to perfection. The beef shin, which melted in my mouth, with warm salad was another favourite. The Rigatoni beef tripe was so tasteful that we re-ordered it despite getting quite full. I was very into beef tartare and would definitely come again for it next time, instead of the ramerino in culo meat ball alternative they served for brunch. Tiramisu was the moist version that I liked but adding more Marsala would even be more perfect. We enjoyed a very long brunch here. Will definitely return and try Carna’s family menu with their signature dishes. Highly recommended!

I booked this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. Originally, I reserved a table for 6:30, but I arrived at the restaurant alone at 6:00. Immediately, the staff reminded me that I had to vacate the table in two hours. So, I asked the staff if I should be seated now since I booked the table for 6:30 and my husband hadn't arrived yet. I would have been totally fine with waiting at the bar until my reservation time. By the way, the restaurant was not busy at 6pm😅. Constantly reminding me of the two-hour time limit from booking, booking confirmation, and at the restaurant didn't leave a good impression at all. It's not the service one would expect from a five-star hotel restaurant (at least not based on my previous experience in Hong Kong). In the end they seated me in a nearly empty restaurant. Once I sat down, I ordered a still water. When my husband arrived at 6:15, the waiter again asked him if he wanted still or sparkling. I gestured to my glass of still water as I didn’t understand why he asked again, to which he added, “Do you both want the same?” Then he explained the water was free flow, but no one mentioned to us earlier, and the waiters also didn’t take any initiative to introduce the menu, and we had to flag one down to ask about their signature dishes. As they served the bread, they forgot to provide the bread plate, and halfway through our mains they realised and finally brought us one. (I just feel that lack of training for the staff or just bad management, the staff was actually friendly). The main courses were neither outstanding nor terrible, it’s just nothing to write home about. The signature porterhouse was properly cooked but it didn’t have that “mind blowing” taste that a customer would anticipate. Especially if they know the name that bears the restaurant’s name - Dario Cecchini, the world famous butcher made famous by Netflix’s Chef’s Table. To make things even more confusing, many of their steaks are not even from Italy, they’re from Australia and Japan. There are certainly better options in the city for authentic Florentine steak. For dessert we ordered Tiramisu, I mentioned it was a birthday dinner during reservation and provided my husband’s name expecting it to appear on the dessert plate, they forgot about that too and just wrote “Happy Birthday” instead. At around 8:15, we hadn’t finished our wine nor did we ask for the bill, they approached us with the bill and said “if you don’t mind” (in retrospect I kind of did 😂). I understand you want us to stick to our 2 hour time limit, but why rush us to leave when your restaurant was not full. (Is it because of the free flow water 🤣🤣🤣?) The restaurant isn’t cheap either, we spent HKD$35xx for 2. We will not go back again, there are many better alternatives within the city. Book咗呢間餐廳同老公慶祝生日,本身book咗枱6:30,但我自己一個人6:00早到去咗餐廳攞枱,職員即刻提醒我兩個鐘要交枱,所以我問職員咁我而家應唔應該入座?因為我book枱係6:30而我老公亦未到。如果你哋餐廳滿座,叫我去酒吧坐陣先,我覺得冇問題,其實餐廳6:00都未有人,不停俾人提住兩個鐘還枱感覺唔太好,唔係一間五星級酒店餐廳應有服務(至少我之前去嗰啲未試過係咁)。 最後佢都係比我入去坐,首先叫咗枝still water,坐一陣6.15左右老公到咗,侍應就問我老公想飲still or sparkling,我就同佢講我已經嗌咗一支still water ,跟住佢話”你哋要一樣?”之後先解釋原來啲水係free flow,一路都冇人講過,亦都冇人主動介紹Menu,要我哋主動去搵人問佢哋嘅signature,serve 麵包唔記得俾麵包碟,之後中途發現先俾返我哋。(其實所有侍應都有善,可能只係training唔夠or bad management) Main course porterhouse steak 好普通。 食物冇一樣係好食到令你會想再去呢間餐廳,亦都冇一樣嘢係好難食。 最後叫Tiramisu dessert,因為book枱嗰時有講生日,亦都有同佢哋講要寫名,但最後係冇咗個名嘅。 大約8:15左右,我哋未叫埋單,酒都未飲完,主動攞張單俾我哋埋單😂 你要我遵守兩個鐘頭規矩冇問題,但你哋餐廳唔full,點解要咁趕客呢? When we stepped in the restaurant, we were greeted by the manager and served with welcome drinks and finger food. Interior design of the restaurant is tasteful and the 39th floor view is spectacular! We had the beef tartare which combined the perfect texture and taste since Chef Danielle only used the rump meat and best olive oil. We also shared the Deep-fried beef meat balls with bone marrow and the orange sauce, you cannot have this dish elsewhere and it is so tasty! Main course we had the famous grilled steak-porterhouse, it was the best steak I have ever had in Hong Kong! This contemporary Italian steak house is perfect for business dinner, for sure I will come back again! Good job, chef!

The atmosphere the view the food are outstanding. Me and my wife celebrate our Anniversary here . Daniele the executive Chef take care of us and made our food experience even more deep explaining the accurate work behind to select the meat cuts , show us the meat dry age display where all the cuts rest for a maturation process . Forget about the classic steak house restaurant, this is the Temple of the meat lovers . Carna is not only an Italian restaurant is a Top notch food experience. The design of the restaurant that recall the Florentine Romanesque style is full of historical details. Well done !

A great restaurant for special occasions, or a night to treat yourself and your special others. The view is great, the food is great, and most importantly the staffs are super awesome. Diksha was serving us tonight. She patiently recommended some dishes to us, and also explained to us which dishes to eat first. We’ll definitely come back again!

The interior design leaves one speechless with its stunning elegance and attention to detail. The moment we stepped in, Hamza, a charming man aka the restaurant manager, greeted us with a welcome drink of Chianti - setting the mood perfectly! And then the show really began with the mind-blowing Chianti tartare, prepared right in front of us. The pairing of killer Italian wines by Kenneth, and you knew you were in for a treat. The highlight of the evening was the blue Carima steak, supremely tender and bursting with juicy goodness. They finished us off with a heavenly, lusciously Recioto dessert wine. Talk about the perfect date night! Carna by Dario Cecchini is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to wine, dine, and be completely and utterly wowed.

I had the pleasure to enjoy this new Italian steakhouse with a business associate. For the minute we walked in until we left, it was a great experience. We were warmly welcomed with arrival drinks and small hors d’oeuvres. We were given a great table by the window, and the pace of service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Great menu and wine list make it easy to make a decision for a meal. we both enjoyed the steak and must say it was the tastiest steak I’ve had in a long time I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a night out and a beautiful view of the harbor with excellent food and service

When you once get into Carna, a glass of welcome drink will be served!! We ordered lots of food but the beef 🥩 is reallllly amazing, especially the table service for beef tartare , it’s good for video taking too!! And I think nobody should reject tiramisu as dessert, the portions is quite big, we (3 girls) were soooo full🤓 Definitely a good place for special occasions with this beautiful harbour view!

Potter&shing is a professional and courteous waiter who is well versed in the contents of the menu and can explain the ingredients, cooking methods and taste characteristics of each dish in detail, allowing guests to have a clear understanding of the dishes. Good at recommending delicious food and able to provide professional suggestions based on guests' preferences. The service attitude is cordial and thoughtful, making guests feel at home.

We had the weekend set brunch menu which came with unlimited apetitisers and one serving of short ribs, steak and sausage for mains. Our serve Dikshya was very hospitable and had great attention to detail e.g. giving us a clean spoon when the second dessert came, positioning the plates on our table when helping us take a photo to make the photo look better. Overall incredible steak and the service. Highly recommend Dikshya to serve your table if possible!

Coffee, Beef, Dessert are nice as those I try in hotel. The Appetizers have wide range of foods including meat ball tata and stewed beef stomach but I like most the bread and the pasta. The tiramisu is Sponge but not fluff. As well, take this opportunity to praise Sylver, who can explain all foods and drinks information for us.
