When I was wandering in the capital, Alofi, of Niue, this is the only place that opened at the time. It is a bit odd to fly all the way to this remote corner of South Pacific to eat Indian food. However, it is cheap...and the food is decent. Even for its alcohol drinks, the price is quite decent.More

Popular place for curry and spice. Locals and tourists eat a lot at this place. Genuine Indian family operate the restaurant.

Gills is in the "commercial centre" of Alofi. Rickety formica tables and even more rickety chairs. TV on the wall with Bollywood movies (once) and kids cartoons (once). The food is varied, plentiful, excellent, and cheap. Staff are friendly and efficient.

There are not many quick and easy lunch options in Niue. The NZD5 roti rolls are great for a quick bite . Dont buy a beer unless you like expired beer which seems to be the normal at all cafes to serve outdated beer. The beer...was from August 2018 so 9 month out of date when we visited in MayMore

An extensive menu which made choices really difficult, so we had to go back. I wasn't disappointed in anything and will dream about the prawn pakoras until my next trip to Niue. The curries were full of flavour and delicious and the naan and mango...lassi made for perfect meals. If Gills was at home it would be the regular. Great service, great food, would recommend to all!More

$5 roti! - chicken beef and vegetarian. The curries are a bit more expensive but are yum too. Good selection of drinks and you can bring your own alcohol with no corkage fee!

Over the Christmas-New Year period this was one of the few places open. The promise of wahoo drew us in and it was excellent. One of our party doesn't eat anything from the sea and had the butter chicken which she reckoned was the best...ever. No corkage charge and food very well priced. Friendly, fast service.More
