Nice outdoor restaurant on the sea, close to Yafo harbour. I visited with a Greek friend at lunch time.
We had first a selection of mezzets, hot and cold with Greek bread, all good. Then my friend had the Gyros and I had the Entrecote...souvlaki, which both were excellent and came with fries and tomato salad. We managed to finish most of the food, too many mezzets :), with the help of a few bottles of Mythos beer.
For dessert we had coffee with original Greek Galacto Burico.
The service was friendly, efficient and quick.More
Great location by the sea, 13:00 Friday, sunny day under white parasols, the food is Mediterranean with light Greek touch, the show contained mostly greek songs but!!! In between the DJ put Very loudly Mediterranean music at an impossible intensity for enjoyment, the waiters became...deaf along with us and refused to cooperate and turn down the loud and not fun music.More
It’s only a 4 stars grade because we booked a table and it was not ready for us in time .
But the food ids great ! The salads and starters were very good and tasty , and could be enough for the meal. Main...course were also very good , the fish fillet with Halumi cheese was just perfect.
Service was fine . The place itself is quite simple but perfectly located just in front of the beach .
Sitting in and out .
Price per person for full meal including drinks , Ouzo and tip 60-70 USDLRS.More
the restaurant is located on the beach on the border between Tel Aviv and Jaffa. the tables are in a terrace facing the sea which was amazing at sunset however the tables and chairs are not very comfortable. it seemed that they were a bit...understaffed as the waiters werent available when needed. the menus were greasy...
as for the food it was OK, the fried hot peppers with fried egg and feta cheese were excellent, the grilled cauliflower was OK. for mains my dearest had the chicken souflaki which was over grilled and over spiced, nothing you would get in a real Greek taverna in Greece. I had a grilled fish which was excellentMore
We stopped here briefly on our way to Jaffa. Between the two of us, we had one beer, one hot chocolate and a pastry. We were slightly surprised when the bill arrived and the total came to £26! The view was lovely, but not great...enough to justify the prices in my opinion.More
