We found this restaurant by chance, we reserved a table (it's very important you do so, there are very few tables!) and when we arrived we found the owner of the restaurant waiting for us; he shook our hand and made us sit at our...table. This restaurant was located in our hotel. We decided to not travel out on our arrival. We were given complementary bread and olives after being seated. The steak and mixed grilled dish was well cooked and tasted great. The meat was tender and flavoursome. Maybe...a sauce would have elevated the dish and made it perfect. The portions were a bit small but gave us options to order a variety of dishes. The price was moderately higher than average Istanbul prices. We tried the flan and baklava for dessert served with Turkish tea. The overall experience was enjoyable and we would recommend guests of the hotel to visit.More
The view was okay, food was so pricey a turkish tea cost 10tl and the waiter looked like he would rather be somewhere else not worth the money and so many other decent restaurants with better views for half the price and better service
We really enjoyed the dinner with fantastic Istanbul view. I can say that this is one of the best view in the city..
Best and most authentic seafood restaurant of the town, i really loved their Grilled Fish and Kebaps, Hamus, Izmirs, Sorbets and many more. One must dine and visit the restaurant to see a spectacular sea view and the best view of the Marmara Sea and...the blue mosque.More
As this hotel is located on top of the Best Western Plus President Hotel, the view is simply excellent. Added to this is the excellent food they serve. Ordered steak and grilled sea bass and both were supremely cooked. The steak was what a steak...should be(much better I think compared to the American franchises steak houses) and the grilled sea bass was fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked. Extra attention was made to plating and presentation. Complimentary bread was provided along with some spiced olives, peppers and diced tomatoes. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended and menu includes both Mediterranean and Turkish dishes. House Turkish red wine was likewise excellent. A must visit restaurant if you are within the area and even if you are not checked in to the hotel!!!More
We ate there while staying at the hotel. Food was over priced, even with their special, and the meat was over cooked. Eat there only if, like us, it was raining and we could nor walk anywhere.
I recommend the place, it is very fresh and U can feel yourself in the sky lookıng at the seasıdes and clouds whıle U r havıng your meal
My wife and I stayed at the President in April for a few days. We usually like to find local restaurants serving local dishes in the evening which we did on some evenings when we were there but this hotel restaurant is well worth staying...in for. The food was good particularly the fish - maybe not spectacular but clean well cooked and well presented. The service is really caring and the wine list is good and very reasonably priced. If you use this restaurant I don't think that you will be disappointedMore
They also have a set menu. A good place to eat and relax in the middle of a long sightseeing day. Good fusion food and friendly staff. Well located. Good views.
