Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like crispy foods, this one is for you. It's not the best lahmacun in the city but it's ok. I think best lahmacun needs garlic! xx

A small and very busy restaurant. Service is just okay. They doesn’t pay many attention. I ordered one lahmatzun and it was really fresh but no tasty. This place is probably the best for this type of food but I really don’t recommend eat that...food. Is nonetheless. Is just bread in the oven with minced meat. Nothing special at all. Something that took my attention is that they preparing everything there in front of the guest so everything is really fresh. Just not something not worths to try as food.More

We ordered all three and it was a tasty snack, also cheap and delicious. My favorite was the Lahmacun which we shared with the yogurt drink. The pide was good but not as flavorful as the Lahmacun. The dessert though was a big hit. Same...room for the kunefe.More

Located on the Asian side of Istanbul & trading for decades in the busy neighbourhood of Kadikoy, HALIL offers one of the best Lahmachuns(Turkish pizza with thin & crispy baked bread topped with mince meat and optional vegetables) and freshly made Ayran(Turkish salty yogurt drink)...to go with it.More

Pizza Pizza and Pizza 1. The only thing the menu has two pizzas. While there is only a little selection of pizzas, the pizzas are delicious. One person can order two pizzas in order to try both of the restaurant signature dish. 2. While you...might ask, would it be too expensive to order two pizzas? The answer is no. Each pizza costs 9 turkish lira only. If you are on a budget, definitely come try this one, Halil Lahmacun. This is a wonderful turkish pizza restaurant.More

This is a simple no nonsense restaurant. The decor is simple and service is very friendly. The price is great. I had two lahmacuns which were baked perfectly and tasted great along with an Ayran and it came to just 21tl which is a very...good for the area and İstanbul. They also do Pide so give a that a try too. It is just a short walk from the Kadıköy Ferry Terminal and Metro Station so you can get there from Eminönü Karaköy and Beşiktaş. Don't leave Kadıköy without a visit to them.More

The lahmacum here is very delicious, and served very quickly. It is also inexpensive, at 8TL per piece. Halil serves only 2 food items, but they are made perfectly!

Kadikoy market is a must place to see and shop in Istanbul. While visiting there, check it out Halil Lahmacun or Inegol koftecisi or Tatar Salim doner lokantasi instead of eating at Ciya. These restaurants offer better and authentic dishes. I recommend Lahmacun with ayran...(yogurt drink) then kunefe at Halil. Go try yourself, you will love it.More

I ate lahmacun in different restaurants and cities. However, this one tastes really delicious. They baked the lahmacun in their unique wooden oven. It was warm, fresh and veery crispy. They also prepare their own yogurt drink (ayran), I also recommend that one too.
