Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I was craving some Mexican food, and we found this restaurant online. To be honest we didn’t have high expectations, but we were surprised with the quality of the food and the service. We had cheese empanadas, supreme nachos with steak, Ecuadorian Llapingacho, Steak Burrito, a Banana split as a dessert, margaritas and mojito as our beverages. Every single thing we ordered was PERFECT! Also the service was top notch and the music was amazing. We can’t wait to taste other items on the menu. Thank you.

Their pizza wasn't anything to write home about, but the panini was very tasty. Prices are reasonable, the only minus perhaps that it took quite some time to get the food (that was Sunday lunchtime). Will come back when we happen to be that side of the town.

Really stupendous apple pie (яблочные пироги). I had two slices each with one scoop of strawberry ice cream. My first dessert in one month of being in Dushanbe. Tastes like somebody's grandma made that pie home-made with a recipe passed down through generations. Best I have had in a long, long time. Overall, food I ordered I enjoyed -- mushroom soup (delicious) but more of the scale of a cup of soup; pasta with chicken (decent) but would be better with alfredo sauce; beef burger (tasty) but way too messy. I would have preferred a slice of mozzarella or Swiss cheese instead of the dressing (sauce). Maybe next time I try something more Mexican. Pity no pork; would have liked pork ribs or even beef brisket (not on menu). In addition, I noticed no guacamole on the menu. Very convenient location (2-3 minute walk) if you are staying at Safir or Oreo Hotel. Interior nicely decorated -- but no sombreros. Full bar but I didn't drink. I didn't notice any Mexican beer on the menu. Anyway, no room for liquids after double portion of desserts. It took about 20-25 minutes to get served. That is fine as that means your food is not just being reheated or otherwise microwaved. Some care is being put in food preparation. Venue was empty on a Saturday night at 930pm. I spent 293 somoni. Reasonable given all the food I ordered but I wasn't especially hungry this evening)) Left filled.

An amazing experience. Found my beloved LAPINGACHOS . ECUADORIAN ONES. A must in that restaurant. The margaritas were lovely too.

We are visiting Salsa from time to time but we frequently use home delivery. The staff is very helpful, the food is amazing and the cherry on the top is very tasty margarita!

I was really keen to eat some Mexican after traveling so long. Food was really good but a few hours later I was very sick. And sick for 2 days. Im guessing it was the salad which was not cold.. This was the only place that I eat that day. I might go back but I would be cautious to only order food which was very hot

The food was great, Mexican tasty fajitas as well as starters. Excellent Margarita and fantastic service even if there were only two waiters and the place was quite full.

We were a group of 9 from all over the world and everyone had a great meal - the menu had something for everyone. It was fabulous mexican food, We all had chips and salsa as starters and the most of us had fajitas or burritos for their mains and a couple of people who had not eaten mexican opted for pizzas. The beef fajitas were wonderful, as good as I've had anywhere in the world. For those who drank I am told the margaritas were wonderful. The service was great too, highly recommend a trip to Salsa.

We hoped Salsa would offer us a break from all the “local” food we were having in the Stans, and it did. We really appreciated the large menu of different items and enjoyed the beer selection. Service was good. Just go there!

We have gone to Salsa a couple of times for lunch. Alex is a very good host. The food is very good - it is great to find Latin cousine in Dushanbe. The appetizers are my favorite. The main courses are also very good. Try their fajita and Burritos. They also have a small bar if you feel like a drink and they take credit cards.

Good ambiance, really good food (we all had burritos, and honestly you need to go for it !). Portions are not as huge as i thought it would be, but service is pleasant and caring. If you go to botanical garden, you have your lunch place!

Six of us went from work on Saturday night. We had the Filet Mignon, Beef Burritos, Chicken Burritos and Nachos supreme. Drinks included Margueritas, Red Wine, Beer and Fruit Juice. The restaurant is spacious and open. There are smaller private booths if you prefer. This place is good for large groups and children alike. Everybody really enjoyed the food, the waiters were timely and friendly and the background music was latin. We really enjoyed this place and will go again.

We had the beef fajitas, burrito and margaritas, and despite the fact that the place was empty on a Friday night the food was great. I haven't had salsa in Central Asia ever that tasted close to real salsa, until this restaurant. Beef was tender, margaritas were good, ambiance was a little strange because he place was empty. Would go again!
