A busy Turkish restaurant

We visited here a couple of times, once for dinner and another for ice cream. This was one of the few busy places around, Nice place, food was decent, not exceptional. Clean. Worth visiting for the atmosphere

Tender and tasty grilled chicken

I ordered a grilled chicken set that came with rice and veggies. The chicken was great; tender and juicy. The rice and veggies were ok. The service was quick, and the dining area was clean, but not fancy. For grilled chicken lovers, this is the place you ought to be.

This place is unexpectedly decent place. Countless food varieties with budget prices. Cosy place, yummy foods, quick and attentive service. I am recommending this place do not miss.

Food is awful, service is terrible and music is too loud. Something has happened to this place. Stale suborek even found worms inside nuts.

Good lunch oproon

We came for lunch and found the restaurant busy. There’s a nice covered seating area at the front however note people do smoke here. Vegetarian options include a nice lentil soup and they made a vegetarian kebab on request. Ice cream for dessert is tasty and large portions.

We went for dinner. It was busy, but we have been served quite promptly. The food was delicious and the fresh lemonade too. The desserts are quite rich but tasty! We would definitely go back!

Tasty indeed!

We really liked this restaurant. The bread is thin, puffy and served warm with a little lemony yoghurt sauce for dipping. There was a lot to choose from on the menu, but we chose chicken breast shashlik, which was cooked just right (still tender, not dry) and came with carrot salad, red cabbage salad, the usual raw onion, a wedge of cooked onion, french fries and rice with chickpeas. Yum! There are lots of desserts too: many flavors of ice cream, various types if cake, and Middle Eastern sweets. We chose a portion of baklava; three pieces come.

Good Food & Fast Service

This is cafe-like food served up fast. The venue is clean, the servers are usually fast, and the prices are right. It's not a gourmet restaurant, it's a simple restaurant for a light meal or coffee/tea or dessert. The ice cream is great!

A quite busy Turkish Cafe @lunch time. The middle east cuisine is served here. Nothing special about the food, a bit of on the salty side. However, it is my personal taste. The staff is responsive, courteous. The menu is offered with both limited English and photos proved to helpful for those patrons do not speak the local language.

I have always loved the other Merve Cafe in Dushanbe.I went only once to this one on Rudaki. It is good but does not pull me to go there again and again. The menu options in the other Merve restaurant are better.

This is one of my least favorite places to eat in Tajikistan. The servers always stand around doing nothing. I go because friends want cheap food. Well you get what you pay for. The food is always gross. I only like some desserts. This time I went with a group. We waited around an hour and finally some got food. The server never asked me for food and after seeing the gross food of others, I just passed. This is some of the worst service I have ever seen. It doesn't make sense to have people stand around and talk. The food hasn't changed in at least 9 years. Same old stuff.

We needed a decent meai

The restaurant is large and family friendly. The service is decent. Its fast food but healthy. They begin with a yogurt and pita dish before the main meal. We had local food which was good and filling, though bland. The menu was in English. It’s a place well recommended and hence our visit. We were not disappointed.
