The restaurant setting was very cozy, the staff was very friendly and the food delicious. The menu selection was very wide, and we each chose a different dish. Everything tasted great. We had a great to time and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Tajikistan and wants to experience authentic local cuisine.

Been to this wonderful place many times! Great food, great service. I especially liked the local cuisine. And what a magnificent ambiance of the restaurant with oriental flavor! I recommend this restaurant with Otikhvana hookahs to everyone! I will come back here again and again!

One of the best traditional restaurants in Tajikistan.
Enjoyed the local food, colourful traditional daces . The interior and exterior design of the restaurant is really good in traditional manner

3 reasons Why I took 3 stars down
1: No baby chairs
2:Music is too loud u can’t even interact with people
3:Smoking cigarettes inside the building, we couldn’t stay for long and watch the show and enjoy our food because people smoke cigarettes non stop even though there is little kids

We got the recommendation from hotel - excellent choose with very good food.
Live local music - dancing on the floor including ‘foreigners’
Menus not in English so it took some time to find a waiter to help our - but we didn’t mind as the ‘party’ was on

This seems to be a popular place - at 7 pm on a Saturday night it was completely full. There was live music which was loud but not disturbingly - although certainly you won't be having a conversation with your dining companions when the music is on!
The lamb was so incredibly tender and well coked that I doubt I have ever enjoyed my lamb so much - unfortunately I can't remember the name of the dish! Will have to go back and try to find it on the menu again! Prices were not too bad for what you get.

We were taken here for lunch during our day in Dushanbe. The restaurant is large with a very high ceiling and very ornately decorated. There were several business lunches going on which is always a good sign. Food was tasty and well served

Book a table! Arrive after 20 and enjoy food and dancing (a bit difficult to talk though) great value of money and tasty food too.

many ppl recommended place to visit. I have been there several times over the past year, and have to say so-so... Too loud, can't talk, service good but slow. Food ok. But overall experience - so so.. There are better local places with live music and local food....

We asked our guide to take us to the place where the local elite would go for fine food dining or high powered business lunches. We were not disappointed.
Loved the « eggplant paradise », an eggplant salad bursting with coriander and garlic which reminded me of the traditional chinese « tiger cucumber » salad.
The « Bukhara tulip » salad (if I remember correctly) was a very fine beef tongue eggplant and tomato salad.
The meat ball with sour cream soup and manti were also very good.
The bread was the freshest and most crispy I’ve had in two weeks on the silk road (where most of the bread served is slightly stale and hard).

We had an excellent lunch at this place.
We began with Garlic Taji black bread.
We ordered Osh (rice, meat and sliced carrots) and Manty (meat dumplings).
We had two good beers: Black Kozel and Holsten.
We had applestrudel for dessert.
Rustam was our waiter and provided a good services.
The total bill was 150 somoni about U$16.

An evening here was a highlight of Dushanbe nightlife for our group. The food was excellently prepared and served. We were in a private room overlooking the dance floor and had great views of the 5 or 6 folk dances ably danced by troupes with costume changes and a repertoire representing Tajik popular and folk dances from various regions of Central Asia. Between their sets, vocalists sang and there were sets of Tajik popular dance music. The dance floor filled with happy folks and we danced in the room above too, as waiters nimbly made their way around us to serve dessert.
