Please note this review is on the food on 9th February, 2020.While the service is excellent , but the food is the one that brings down the rating. I order chicken wings. It tasted like frozen chicken. Definitely not fresh. It was not hot. It...is just warm. Seems like it was cooked a long time ago, and then re heat in the microwave. And they can't even do a good job at re-heating. Next I ordered the popcorn shrimp. While it tastes better than the chicken, it is still not hot! I don't know what's up with the kitchen. Did they pre cooked food, and then re heat the food to avoid rush hours? I would recommend to come here only for the beautiful scenery and beer. Avoid the food at all times. Trust me, you will regret it.More

Based on the good reviews I made a booking and took a 15 minute taxi ride to this bar. Promptly seated in a very quiet bar but not served after 10 minutes so we left in disgust and not even anyone to complain to on...the way out. My fifth trip to Vietnam and third to Hanoi in the last 18 months, quite simply the worst service I have experienced in Vietnam. Big ups to the nice young man that arranged the departing taxi. I had considered staying at this hotel based on reviews but this is my last ever visit. Hugely dissapointing so made a beeline for the Rooftop Bar, a 19th floor bar about 1km from the old quarter and a short walk from the Melia Hotel if you want exceptional service.More

Relaxed, stylish bar with the basics done well, on top of a hotel a little way from the old centre of town. The views are great, though there's not (yet) a spectacular skyline to seduce you with, compared with other cities in the region. Prices...are high but the place is worth it; the service is impeccable. We came after night had fell, and appreciated the wind on a hot day; other visitors might have felt otherwise.More

Great roof top bar with amazing view. We were looking for a place to enjoy some late night drinks and were happy to find the Summit Lounge. Nice cocktails, good service and one of the best views in town.

The views were awesome, the prices less so. Staff were patient and attentive to our needs. Ordered takeaways and it came in a fancy package with the dish well insulated in aluminium foil. Overall, the food quality was only average - our fried chicken came...dry as a bark. But the views were awesome.More

Amazing views from the bar and eating area - both inside and outside. Staff are polite and helpful. The water , the building lights , the bridge. Drink prices are 100,000+ dong so around £3.30, but of course you are paying towards the amazing views....Well worth taking the £15-£20 hit on a few drinks / food for the photograph moments. So although expensive for Vietnam , remember what £15-£20 gets you in a bar in England... barely 3-4 pints with a view of a dartboard or fruit machine! Bill is subject to 10% tax. Food available too.More
