A little far from Medina, but 15 minutes with a taxi, totally worth it. It is a place where locals hang out specialised in lamb roast. 170 dirhams a kilo of the best lamb, eaten by hand.

A very authentic experience. Roasted lamb cooked for 3 hours in an underground oven. Eating with your hands and bread. The roasted lamb is absolutely delicious. Very tender inside and crispy outside. Everyone visiting marrakech should try.

This little place is hidden away in the entrance to the souqs, but easy to find if you know where you’re going. The food was so moist and delicious and one Lamb Tanjia filled us right up that we had no need to order anymore...More
