One of the best places if not the best place to eat at in Augusta. Great service with Great food. The cost is high but worth every penny you pay and would argue that you could not find a place that provides the same portion sizes and quality for a lower price.
Staff is friendly and atmosphere is elegant yet you don’t have to worry if you show up in casual. Definitely a must stop and try.
I had the pork chops with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Great southern food to try while your visiting.

What a wonderful evening! Atmosphere, service, beverage and food all 5 stars! From the moment my husband and I walked in the door of this establishment, they made the evening all about ‘us’. Food was fabulous and our server, Meg, was also fabulous. We ordered too much because the numerous choices on the menu sounds so delicious! Looking forward to tomorrow’s leftovers and future visits.

Everyone kept saying “you have to try the pork chop”! It was great! Usually something like this won’t live up to the reputation. The Pork Chop at Frog Hollow was awesome! Perfect! The Best! My wife had the crab cake. Also huge! So we shared. But the pork chop was definitely the better choice. Our server Colleen was very friendly and efficient. The classic rock music on the sound system was perfect for me. The only down side was the hostess. We arrived a little early and assumed we might have a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our table. However the curt unfriendly somewhat rude (don’t want to say “B”) hostess said the bar was reserved for those who were going to eat. The bar was half empty and we were only hoping to be there for 10 minutes. Your loss. Sorry we couldn’t spend a couple extra buck at your bar cause your hostess was rude. Other than that. Love love loved The Frog Hollow Tavern.

No social distancing at all. Bar service was slow and the mixed drink they made was wrong. Food is expensive for what you get and the overall service quality is just not that good - staff seems to care more about themselves than the guests. Likely does a good business because of lack of competition for what they offer but in most any other city Frog Hollow would not stack up.

Food was so so. Nothing spectacular. Gave me a piece of overcooked gouda mac and cheese. I sent it back. At $8.00 per serving, overcooked end piece is unacceptable. Also, what happened to the flourless chocolate cake? The change made to it is not good.

Chef Sean A. Wight has done it again. The Frog Hollow Tavern family style dinners for mother's day were a great success.
My family had the Beef Wellington and it was fantastic! This restaurant's success will continue as long as they continue to produce quality food and services!

I could not get a reservation on short notice, so I dropped by and snagged a seat at the bar. Social distancing applied there and the bar and wait staff were all masked. The balance of the restaurant was full of patrons (an remained so during my visit) when I arrived at about 6:45 PM on a Saturday night.
The menu looked delicious and the specials sounded great. I started with the Apple Carpaccio, wonderful. Then I enjoyed the Braised Park Shoulder which was served with Collard Greens and a rectangular serving of Au Gratin Potatoes with smoked Gouda if I recall correctly. The bartender explained that most of the ingredients on the menu were locally sourced and the house specialty was anything with pork.
All in all, I think I ordered too much food. Well certainly so after the served me home-made bread and butter consisting of two slices each of a multigrain bread and a sourdough bread. Yummy (I ate all four slices, which may explain why I thought I ordered too much food).
I rarely dole out a "5 circle" review, but Frog Hollow Tavern was unexpectedly good and most deserving of high praise. I do not think you would be disappointed.

Ordered 2 halibuts that were discarded as the fish was foul smelling and inedible. Salads were served with tomatoes that were wrinkled and mushy, not fresh. One salad also contained a foreign object. The manager on duty was disinterested in feedback.

Just as wonderful a dining experience as it was when we were here two years ago for the Augusta Half Ironman Triathlon. It was very busy, but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time, having been offered a drink while we waited by the very pleasant hostess. Our server, Katie, was professional, friendly and appropriately attentive. Our meals were delicious. Being a farm-to-table restaurant with a menu that changes seasonally, what we had may not be on the menu when you come. But the meat and fish eaters and the vegetarian in our small group were all very satisfied. Flavourful food, perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Frog Hollow. I advise making a reservation.

Great Dinner tonight! Frog Hollow always has great food, drinks, and desserts. I had their famous pork chop, she-crab soup, and Creme Brûlée. My wife had the Angus Beef Short Rib. Everything was perfect. Andrea provided great attentive and friendly service. We had an opportunity to use our Christmas Gift Card. Price is a little higher than some places but food quality and fine service make it well worth it and a favorite stop for us.

Just stopped in to have a drink, sat at the bar. The two bartenders were polite & friendly...but after every drink they brought the check. I noticed other patrons were not "billed" after each drink/dish. I was respectful, engaging & polite....and in the end, an excellent tipper. But I was made to feel "unwelcome" by the continued presenting of my bill. Work on that attitude Frog Hollow...there are other dining options in Augusta Georgia.

My wife and I went here for the first time now that things are re-opening. For those that are concerned about it, all staff members wore masks, they had disposable menus and kept seating at a minimum of 6 feet. Now for the part most of you actually care about, the food was phenomenal. I had the cowgirl Angus steak with Mac and cheese. One of the best steaksbI have ever had, hands down. Cooked to perfection and the flavor was wonderful. The mac and cheese was good but not the classic casserole style we are used to in the south. My wife had gnocchi and said it was fabulous. We both had cocktails which were great as well. My wife had the cheesecake and I had the chocolate cake. We shared them both and I can say they were both wonderful as well. The server was great, he knew the menu inside and out and was prompt but not over bearing. We will definitely be back again.

Went there this evening for a rehearsal dinner and ahem near told the cost. When the check came I was charged $75 per person and my wife only had a salad. The manager said that the waitress should’ve told me that there was a $75 per person charge no matter what she ate. Meaning if she ate nothing she was still being charged. This is ridiculous as being in the restaurant business you do not charge someone who does not partake. They said I can come by and get another dinner the next day.

We returned here for the first time since the pandemic and were so glad to see it hadn’t changed. Food is still absolutely delicious and the servers all very attentive. It was a little noisy - the price of being packed and popular - but that didn’t spoil our experience

The food was very good. We were a group of 4. I recommend the diver scallops with pork belly and the andoullie sausage for appetizers. We then had the 1) pork chop 2) cowgirl ribeye (med rare) 3) bucther’s steak (medium) 4) flounder.
All the entree food was very very delicious!
We had all four deserts on the menu. They were very, very good however I am very particular about my crème brûlée and this one was slightly more dense than I prefer. The cheesecake was beautiful and very good if you’re cheesecake person. Overall, the flavors and presentation of the meal were wonderful.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
