Following this Covid lockdown this was one of our first opportunities to dine out and it was excellent as always. The quality of food at BF has always been good and happy to report that it still is. On a Saturday night we had an hour wait, pretty typical even prior. We were met by a hostess stationed outside the entrance and gave our phone number and told an hour and everyone waited outside, separated. All help wore masks and they opened and closed doors wearing gloves. Totally hands off for us. Menus were smaller, made of paper and tables were separated nicely. No bar seating. Our food was excellent as always, our server Joseph was extremely attentive and helpful and fully aware of how to work in this new environment. Obviously a credit to him and management. We could not of been happier with the entire experience and will highly recommend this place to anyone.

We chose Bonefish for our Valentine’s Lunch Date because the Surf & Turf ad on-line looked so good. We were not disappointed. The 7oz. Filet mignon and 6 oz. lobster tail were seasoned and cooked just right. I also love their warm bread dipped in olive oil and Italian spices. The price was very reasonable at $35.90 for the size portions. I was impressed with Christopher our waiter who was thorough and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and date. You must try Bonefish out!

The Bonefish in Augusta is pretty big but could be expanded twice its size and still be crowded. They have to end up using the Bar area tables as reserved tables. But the service was great. The manager was assisting the waitresses and the food was great. Funny thing is I had never been there before. And it been here for over 10 years it think. I was missing out.

My family and I loved Bonefish Grill where we used to live in FL, so we were excited to find one in Augusta. We've been to this one 3 times and EVERY time was a poor experience. The only reason we went a 3rd time was because we had a gift card. I made a reservation for 5:30pm and requested to sit in a booth. We arrived at 5:15 because we were told we may have to wait a little longer to ensure we are seated in a booth. Once I was finally able to get in the door (it was packed with people), the hostess was very short with me and said that my reservation was made for 6pm, not 5:30 like I requested. She said it would be 20min...we were finally seated at 5:50...at the first TABLE in the entrance (an extremely high traffic area). We just wanted to eat by that point so we took the table. Due to the location, people kept crowding around our table and running into my chair. Our server was very nice and the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars. Food was average. I got the Saigon Noodles and it was drowning is so much soy sauce that I couldn't finish it. It was just so salty. Our previous experiences here were similar (cold food, poor service, etc.). I just never wrote a review because I thought they were having an off day.

We arrived here our first night in town without a reservation and were told the wait time was over an hour. So, we made a reservation for the next night. The manager took our reservation and I asked if we would still have to wait when we arrived. She told me we shouldn't have any problem since we had made it for 6:15pm. We arrived and were still told, even with our reservation, we would have to wait because they were behind with their reservations unless we wanted to sit outside in a heated area. We decided we would try it but our table was broken and no other option available. Upon going back to the host we were told to step inside the restaurant and speak with the manager since she had taken our reservation. We did and she still told us we would have to wait. The restaurant was loud and it appeared they had crammed as many tables as they could into the inside. Disgusted, we left. Honestly everywhere in the city is this way even during the week but we surely thought a reservation would make a dfference. Not in this city!! You'd think it was New York City or somewhere. Crazy! We tried to go next to Outback Steakhouse and left due to being told there was an hour and half wait. Ridiculous! Advice...plan ahead and eat early. Dont expect to get quick service in this city. Evidently everyone who lives here eats out. We have traveled to Augusta several times on business and honestly dread it every time because of traffic and difficulty getting served in restaurants without severely ridiculous wait times. Would NEVER visit this city again unless we had to.

My fiancé have eaten at this bonefish numerous times and have always enjoyed the service and food. Today I was disappointed to see the health score as 85. Health scores are an important factor for me and a deciding factor on if or when I return. I made a comment to the hostess about my concern for the rating and she basically ignored me. In addition, the waiter was just okay as oppose to our previous energetic, personable and smiling servers. Will likely not return anytime soon and when I do, will first verify if a reassessment yielded a high score, preferably mid 90’s.

We enjoyed a wonderful late night dinner at this location. Most restaurants in the area closed at 9 or 10 however this restaurant was open until 11:00pm on Saturday. Majority of the staff wore mask and seating was spaced comfortably apart. The waiter was very helpful with making menu selections. The appetizer, drinks and entrees all came out in a timely manner and all were great. Outdoor seating was also available.

We haven't lived where there was a Bonefish Grill for about 20 years. Found this one in Augusta. Although it was about 6 pm on a Fri. night, we got right in. We love the ambiance. They observed all rules for Covid and we felt quite comfortable and safe.
Heather, our server, was the greatest.
Started with Imperial Dip which was delicious and the chips tasted home-made.
Hubby is a meat and potatoes man but branched out and had Thermidor Gnocchi. He liked it but took a bit home so I could have it for the lunch the next day and it was quite good.
I had the Swordfish with sautéed spinach and ate every drop. It was cooked perfectly.
As I said, we haven't been to Bonefish Grill since we lived in Tampa, FL so don't remember what it was like. However, the one in Augusta, although a little pricey, is worth trying and we will return.

Sadly, the food and service has gone downhill at this location. The host is unwelcoming, service is painfully slow, and the food tastes like a boxed frozen meal. Customer service continues to steadily decline across industries. Quality control, proper training, and selective hiring would help.

Excellent service, we all ordered fish. I had the cod special which was cooked perfectly not overdone, it had a delightful texture and flavor lemon with caper sauce. Another diner with us had the scallops which were very tasty and again not overcooked, and another had the fish tacos. They enjoyed it very much but if you are spice adverse it is quite spicy (hot) so know your spice tolerance. It was not blow your head off spicy but if you like more mild spice don’t try this dish! Food was moderately priced and since it’s a chain you can expect pretty consistent cooking!

Absolutely atrocious service. Arrived at 6:00, dining room was maybe 2/3 full, 90 minutes before salads were delivered and of course, you guessed it, the mains 2 minutes after that. Really disappointing, we’ve gone there for years and it was never do bad. I mentioned this to a manager and he just walked away…. Lots of others places to spend your money in Augusta. These guys own Carrabas across the street and it’s been a dump for years. Seems like bonefish is headed the same direction.

Chad, our server/waiter, and Savoya, a Manager (sorry if misspelled), helped to make our experience at Bonefish a special event for my mother's 90th birthday!
We arrived about 25 minutes prior to our reservation and checked in. We had asked the hostess if we could be seated so my 90 year old mother could sit down since she has trouble standing. The restaurant was half empty, but the hostess stated no, because they were short staffed and would have to wait and would not accommodate us.
Chad walked by and took charge! He apologized, said he would serve us. Chad immediately seated us and provided excellent customer/wait service!!!
The Manager, Savoya, listened to what had happened and apologized for the rude behavior of the hostesses, and provided excellent customer service.

Went on a Saturday pm by myself (visiting a sick relative in the hospital). Was put in the bar area at a high top table; I am always suspicious when a restaurant sticks me in the bar area as it guarantees that I will be basically ignored. To a “T”, this is what happened exactly. I was greeted by a friendly server who took my order (food and a bar drink). Then I waited and waited. The bar drink never showed up but when the food did (and it appeared to be brought by someone at the managerial level), I asked about my bar drink. The manager walked over to the bar and asked about the drink and one of the bartenders replied (and I could hear because I was seated in the bar), “it’s right here”. It had been sitting there for who knows how long.
When the original server tried to slide it front of me with no acknowledge of the foul up, I replied that I wanted it before the meal. The server asked me if I wanted it removed and I said yes. I had ordered a drink with a top, top shelf liquor. I was going to order a dessert but after this i quickly finished the meal and politely asked for the bill. Which I am still waiting for as I type this review. No one apologized for the issue. No one.
Dear Restaurant Owners - so when a solo diner comes in and wants to tie up a two-top table and not sit in the bar area, read this review. I have learned my lesson and won’t be back as a solo diner or with other diners - at all.

This location's service was absolutely outstanding! I have not seen service on this level except only before the pandemic. Three of us came to dinner following a business meeting. Absolutely on every turn, our drink refills were taken care of before asking, anything we requested was delivered in minutes and everything that was served was cooked to perfection! Our server Lee Hensley was phenomenal: pleasant, helpful, patient, and professional. The manager was professional as well. Everyone from the front door to the kitchen was superb. We were absolutely shocked. We have not seen service on this level in years. This location should be the poster child for all.
