Tasty food but I can't eat spicy food so there wasn't a lot of choice for the $15 lunch menu. It wasn't clear if you could ask for the "hot" items to be made up as "mild".
Very nice surroundings. Nice music. Good service and...a great view over the water.
Restaurants in Waiheke are quite expensive and this is really good value.More
Nice spot with sea views. Surprised that it was not busy as not always a good sign (early evening). Greeted by friendly waitress. Meals came up fairly quickly which were very tasty. We would happily recommend and go back again😁.
This place reviews well online and is in the heart of oneroa. Classic style Thai food - crinkle cut carrots etc - combines with classic atmosphere for a nice Thai meal. The mains are large and come with rice, the spring rolls were crisp.
I...had the pork belly which was very tasty, others had the pad Thai, fish curry and vegan pad Thai.
We chose the place to have some options for a member of our group who is vegan, and the meal was ok.
$160 for 5 with soft drinks.
Overall it lacked character, there were a couple of service hiccups (water for table without asking?), and I guess it felt a little generic.
We’d go again, but it looks ready for a spruce up and review.More
We were surprised when we went to pick our takeaway up that the place was empty, as the location overlooking Oneroa was great and it has nice ambience. Our food was tasty across the board and nobody had a negative comment.
Ate here some weeks ago and really enjoyed the food, the setting and the ambiance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant obviously has a faithful and deserved following of locals and visitors to the island.
All three of our group enjoyed their excellent Thai dishes. Service was quick and friendly. Little pricey compared with my last Thai experience in Rotorua but otherwise cant fault. Views would be great in summer.
