We had the most beautifully presented and cooked to perfection meal. The staff were attentive and clearly enjoy their job. We all had different meals and every plate placed on the table was plentiful and beautifully presented. Will def be back!!

Birthday celebration that was originally cancelled due to Covid. We stayed overnight in a beautifully decorated antique French style large upstairs room, complete with stand alone large deep bath, and a balcony. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, and some sweet treats. Our...dinner included entrees of avocado with blue cheese and caramelized onion, and a prawn dish; mains were sweet potato and chick pea curry, and surf and turf. All beautifully cooked and presented, full of flavour. Hubby had room for Pavlova berry stack - with 2 spoons! Breakfast did not disappoint either. We loved the time here and will be returning.More

Excellent restaurant. Nice ambience, excellent service, food good. Only two tables due to Covid. Shame as it is a great asset for Picton.

We stayed at Escape to Picton for two nights, so it was pretty easy to make the decision to come down stairs and eat. Love love loved it. French & Kiwi cuisine. Beautifully cooked fresh food with delectable sauces. Yum we will be back.

This not inexpensive (though not over-priced) restaurant provides a short but more than adequate menu of well thought out and exquisitely prepared entrees and mains. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable and the staff are pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend

Fabulous service and fabulous food. We were served a complimentary tasting of battered mussels. They were superb. The menu was quite comprehensive and covered both seafood meat and vegetarian options . We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

Amazing food. I had the Fish Of the Day and my partner had the Surf and Turf. Both were phenomenal, service was very friendly.

Went there for dinner on Thursday 25th. Head waitress pretty stressed. A beautiful meal & loved the little free nibble. A lovely touch. A delightful young girl on her first day helped serve our table & she was great. Went back Friday 26th. Bottom of...pie burnt & $39.50 for 2 pieces of blue cod 10cm x 1cm & I asked for the potato wedges instead of the risotto so Definitely not value for money. We were told the fish was fresh that they got it in every day but it smelt fishy which fresh fish doesn’t but it was watery & had no flavour. We weren’t asked how our meal was or were our places cleared away or offered the dessert menu so we went up to pay. We were then asked how our meal was & I said very disappointing & explained. The other senior girl then said so did you eat it. I said yes & she said she was sorry & your bill is $$$$. I paid & then she said would you like to speak to the chef & I said yes. So the head waitress came out & said she was sorry. My husband asked if there was a different chef on she said no but she did say the boss wasn’t there who was also a chef. Such a disappointment as the last night of our holiday.More
