There’s a good selection of bread which you can have sliced for you along with various danish pastries, cakes and doughnuts. There’s also a range of hot pies and excellent sandwiches to pick up for lunch. We went back for more!

I had been recommended to visit and so glad I did as it is a little tucked away off the High St. My only problem was deciding what to buy. I got a bombolino ie donut for immediate consumption and some ciabatta rolls bit of which were delicious and the rolls kept fresh for several days. I wish I had bought more.

This bakery is rightly recommended in the guide books. There is a wide array of freshly baked products both savoury and sweet. Staff are friendly and efficient. There are a couple of large tables outside so that you can eat straight away.

This place is so popular that stuff sells out really quickly. If you rock up for a late lunch at say 1.00 p.m. you will find the cabinets denuded.
There is good reason for that. Food is great and it stocks all of the kiwi classics which I love as a returning local.
Seating is quite limited outside due to the crowds but there is always the park at the seafront for a picnic

I had a lovely lunch here of pie and a brownie for later in the day.
As the bakery is only a short walk from the coast, it’s perfect to sit on a bench and eat it with the views in front of you.
There is lots of choice in the bakery and the pies are made in-house on the day.

Do stop in. Perfect for a take away brekky and coffee before jumping on the ferry. The bacon and egg buttie was delicious and spinach feta flat bread was yum! We also took a sourdough loaf for later ;-)

We arrived in Picton on a Saturday afternoon and had a ferry on Sunday morning, but when we came here in the afternoon it was closed, and we were dismayed because it was supposed to be closed on Sunday, too. However, on the way to the ferry terminals on Sunday morning, we walked past here again and it was open! We then went inside and the lovely lady told us that because it's the holidays, a lot of people come here so they are temporarily open on Sundays, too! How great is that? We bought a few yummy treats with us to bring on the ferry ride. Recommend this place 10/10.

Chicken and camembert pie. Real chicken breast lots of cheese served hot at just the right temp... brilliant! Steak and onion with steak and visible onion . Just as good. Then the pastries real cream with great selections. 5 star all the way every day. There always has to be a downside and that is the expresso which is rubbish. So buy your pasties here and get your coffee elsewhere but get your pastries here as you will regret not doing this.

convenient little bakery, Great selections of goods.
staff were very welcoming.
Was great to see a gluten free brownie option, enjoyed it, just a tad dry, but the caramel in between helped that.

Absolutely amazing food I couldn’t believe it.. so reasonably priced too.. huge selection and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back! This bakery would put a lot of other ones I’ve been to to shame. Recommend definitely!

This bakery has many options to choose from. I was after a pie and that too a vegetarian pie and they had one. I had couple of vegetarian pies from this shop and they were delicious. Really well made. Would highly recommend this place,

So busy, so frantically busy with people on holiday and yet the staff were nailing it. Friendly, helpful, efficient, and serving gorgeous food. Loved the pesto bun. Thankyou for working while the rest of us are not.

Awesome range of food at reasonable prices. Staff were fantastic. Picnic tables out the front were helpful, but it's a bit hot sitting out there in the Summer sun. Definitely get food here again when we are passing through.

We got an assortment of goodies all were delicious! The custard square and custard bun were stand out! YUM! Excellent customer service would highly recommend a visit.
