We had dinner here last night the sweet n sour pork, ginger beef and red curry crispy chicken were excellent. The restaurant is in an old villa the decor is let’s say interesting but it was warm and good service. Will definitely go back.
We got off the interislander and needed a quick dinner in Picton. Ordered takeaway to take to our accommodation. Kids were starving but barely ate anything. Phad Thai is a favourite but this was a mushy mess, noodles were so gluey we couldn’t pull them...apart with massive chunks of onion and cabbage... fried rice was so salty kids couldn’t eat it and chicken and veg was full of water. We threw it out and had toast.More
Dont believe the negative reviews. Best massaman beef curry ever ! Delicious thai fish cake entree.Beautiful fresh lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves in yum coconut soup. Good service in pleasant decor. Great value for money , big serving sizes.
I’ve been going to Thai Panda for over 7years. Being a creature of habit, I always get the same CHICKEN MOONLIGHT CURRY.
After being away for a couple years I came back super excited to get my Friday meal.
It didn’t taste BAD (but I’d...never get it again) It just didn’t taste anything like the original menu. I’m allergic to pineapple, so asked for all fruit to be removed, only to find they had picked the fruit off the top and left the rest in the bottom. Not impressed.
Wontons were YUM! Well priced and good sizes.
And also, I ordered a mild curry and my eyes were watering.. not sure if it was a mix up? Or their “mild” is actually what I’d consider “medium to HOT!”
I will go back again to try their other dishes, I don’t doubt the new owners have some specialty in the menu that will impress.More
After reading the reviews we thought we would sample the food.. unfortunately it was very disapointing. The veggies in the stirfry were frozen mixed veggies and the meal was rather tasteless. The wontons were nice but apart from that. I would not reccomend. The staff...were polite.More
The worst starter I’ve ever had. Very greasy and tasteless. 2 minute noodles in the chow mien , the beef was tough. So disappointing . Apparently have changed hands , would be great to see they could get their quality better.
Delicious Thai food in a quirky little front-of-a-house restaurant. We had satay chicken sticks followed by a pad see-ew gai and a Penang curry. All unexpectedly yum. Friendly service and incredibly good value.
