The food was delicious and fresh. Super fast service and price is good. Service excellent. The restaurant filled up fast but their service including serving was fast. Highly recommend. Will visit again on my next trip

Came in on a sunny day - great service, amazing menu, great range of drinks - to topit off - amazing view and location
Got the beast board and seafood board. A lot of food! Came out quickly tasted great and we had a lot of leftovers. Usually need to book in the weekends or holidays
Great spot to relax with a beer and enjoy the view of the harbour - my tipple of choice was Monteiths Golden Lager which was available on tap - deliciously refreshing after a warm day sight seeing.
Visited here on the last night of a 3 week trip to the South Island and we had the large seafood platter to share between 2 of us. Every mouthful was just gorgeous. The restaurant was quite quiet, the waiters were very attentive. Thoroughly recommend
The menu offered a few vegetarian options so I opted for lunch here. It was very busy, Sunday, but I received excellent service throughout. The portion size was large and the food was delicious. I thought it was good value for money. I was too...full up for a dessert! It was a great location and staff were friendly throughout.More
Had good table at window overlooking sea ,had a eggs benedict with smoked salmon and others in our group had the french toast , seeing the amount of bacon with the french toast made me think I should have had the eggs benedict with bacon..., nevertheless enjoyed the breakfastMore
Food was tasty. View was good. Service was lack lustre. Cost was beyond the quality/quantity. Service: Couldn’t catch anyone’s eye on multiple occasions, including one waiter seeing me raise my hand and walking away, and so I eventually went to the bar to order. Food:...Steak sandwich was cooked to order – steak was tender. The 500 g mussels were very flavoursome, however the menu indicated that it would be “served with crusty grilled baguette” – it actually came with one 1 cm toasted slice. Cost: Having received only one thin slice of baguette, I ordered “more” bread (I said I would pay for it) and was charged five dollars for two more, 1 cm slices. This seemed pretty pricey – my fault, I should’ve asked the price before ordering the extra. Either way, I felt ripped off, first because the menu was misleading, and second because the cost for two small, thin slices was disproportionate with the cost.More
Booked this place not knowing what to expect. We both had steak and it was delicious. Excellent value for money Definitely recommend
Went for lunch, beautiful spot on a lovely day. Staff seemed really awkward hovering round and came back twice to rearrange the plates and napkins on our table while we waited for our food to arrive. Staff were not friendly , didn’t smile or even...look at us when taking our order, not even a greeting. Chips were good, margarita pizza was terrible. No mozzarella just normal cheese, and dried basil sprinkled on rather than fresh basil leaves, pretty tasteless. Lady behind the bar was pretty indifferent to us being there and when another patron was paying her bill was coughing a lot into the glassware without covering her mouth. Would not recommend, when there are plenty of other places to choose from.More
Whether it was because the restaurant was under-staffed or because we arrived after a couple of large groups was not clear, but it took forever for our cocktails to arrive. The staff tried to be cheerful in the circumstances, promising us that we'd be served...soon but it's never a good idea when drinks arrive after the food. Which was pleasant but not inspiring.More
Nice looking dropped in late afternoon but staff rude & short tempered. Went in for breaakfast the next day couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast very nice staff really good.
Last Sunday we had a booking for lunch for 15 , on a set menu. We went down mid morning as had added decor for our table which staff helped us with. Our waiter was great, had personality and delivered all meals and drinks to...correct people, he also obliged by taking photos for us. The food and drinks were lovely. Thanks for helping make our anniversary special. We came back for breakfast which was absolutely delicious 😋More
Loved it. We came after a long drive and had a couple of drinks and dinner. The arancini balls were a perfect starter for two, and the gluten free option of the blue cod and chips (pan fried) was excellent. The garlic prawns and tagliatelle...was delicious with lots of garlic. Staff very friendly and a very nice Sav wine list 🙂More
Food was portions were generous all was good apart for the salad was a bit of a let down. Great location and incredibly views, lovely staff.
