Although cafe is small inside, there are also tables outside where you can enjoy the lovely garden setting. Coffee and pastries were perfect for breakfast, and we also had dinner there with good food and wine. Service is cheerful and friendly, even under pressure. We...More

We popped in here for drinks and snacks on a busy afternoon. We were accommodated at a table where they’d cleaned up perfectly and reset the table for us. Good wine list, good menu. We have had excellent lunches here in the past but today...More

Usually I would never base a poor review on one visit to a restaurant. Everyone can have a bad day in the office. Extremely loud rap music, a large party of locals, a owner/manager dressed in clothes that wouldn't pass dress code in The Greasy...More

I came in without expecting anything and the lunch turned out to be good. We had risotto and fish burger. Both were equally good!

Had a light lunch and coffee, and the food/drink was great. This place stood out for its customer service in particular though, going above and beyond to help me track down some lost sunglasses in the town. Great food, fantastic people. Thank you very much.

Only had coffee and a Danish for breakfast. Very nice. The ambience of the place makes this cafe/restaurant. Sat in the garden where the sun was shining in the morning.

When we went, it was fairly quiet, however if your going in the summer months then I would say to make a reservation.

"The Brasserie is Akaroa's newest restaurant. Your hosts, Carlos and Saowani invite you to step into their beautiful garden and escape the hustle and bustle outside. We have all day menu with electic and French European influence as well as Asian inspired menu. We have a wide range of boutique wines and Craft beers and All Press coffee available to compliment our Menu. The focus is on local, seasonal ingredients and there is an abundance of fresh vegetables as well as Asian and European herbs from our garden. There is also a BBQ menu to enjoy. Indoor and outdoor seating. We are open 8am till late 7 days a week, so come and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with us or just soak up the atmosphere with a drink. We also have a range of pastries and muffins to accompany our great Allpress coffee."
